A Practitioner Finally Regained Her Sight

(Clearwisdom.net) Today I read an article entitled "Do I Know It All?" The article describes how Practitioner A was severely tormented by sickness karma and became very emaciated. In the end this practitioner lost her life. This really depressed me. The author wrote: "In order to help her quickly get rid of the interference, all fellow practitioners tried to talk to her and exchange views on their understanding of the Fa. But in the end she said, 'I know all that you are saying.' The situation became one in which nothing else could be done."

Now that Fa-rectification has come to the last stage, we need to deal with similar situations with a serious attitude: from the standpoint of a whole body, for the whole body to experience fewer losses, and to save more people, we should improve as a whole body.

Master said,

"If it continues endlessly and if there do not exist other problems in your xinxing or conduct, it must be that the evil demons are capitalizing on the weak spots caused by your lack of control." ("Expounding on the Fa" in Essentials for Further Advancement)

The eyesight of one of our aged practitioners deteriorated so badly that by October 2007 she could not see clearly at all. She had diabetes before she started cultivation, and her sight had not been good. This older practitioner complained that her eyes were tired when she read the Fa. Her daughter-in-law took her to see a doctor to get a pair of spectacles made for her. The doctor, however, said that the old lady's retina was damaged and there is no point making glasses; let things be. The old lady heard the doctor and was so frustrated that she cried. She thought to herself that it would be terrible if she could no longer study the Fa.

When a few practitioners heard about this, me included, we got together with her to exchange experiences. We tried to have her think about this development from the perspective of the Fa and told her not to admit that this was an illness. We suggested she should look inward and consider whether she was diligently doing the three things Master requires.

She managed to find her attachments and realized that the evil black hands has taken advantage of her loophole. Thereafter, every day all of us would help her to send righteous thoughts at 7:00, 8:00, and 9:00 p.m. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday when we gathered to study the Fa together, we sent forth righteous thoughts for her every hour. When we were studying Lecture Seven of Zhuan Falun on the issue of treating illness, Master said, "Somewhere in the body one may have a tumor, infection, osteophytosis, etc. It is because in another dimension there lies a being in that place."

When we studied this Fa, everyone realized the fundamental reason for this woman losing her sight--because there was a being in another dimension. Thus we sent righteous thoughts for three months, directing them at that being. The older practitioner finally regained her sight three months later and was able to read the Fa again. Her family members and friends saw the power of Dafa from this incident and thus had a better understanding of Dafa and provided more support.

If a fellow practitioner has met with the interference from sickness karma, we must consider the issue from the perspective of the Fa. We must cultivate in the Fa and have faith in Master and Dafa. We must not acknowledge the arrangements of the old evil forces.

All practitioners should pay attention to this issue and help fellow practitioners overcome their tribulations.
