(Clearwisdom.net) Lately, I often read many articles on personal safety, techniques and righteous thoughts on the Minghui/Clearwisdom website and I would like to share some understandings on this issue.

While memorizing Zhuan Falun, I had this cultivation experience. I memorized sentences in each paragraph by reading the Fa fluently and in context. From past experience, as an intellectual I should be able to express my ideas with words. So when I memorized the Fa and met words in a sentence or in a certain context, I used "my own understandings" subconsciously to help me memorize the text.

However, to my surprise I found that sometimes when memorizing the Fa, I did miss some words, replaced some original words of the Fa with "my own words", and even missed a few words of the Fa because I assumed there were none according to "my logical thinking". With these errors, I subconsciously assumed that the way I memorized the Fa could still express the meaning of paragraphs. Since the content that I memorized from my own thoughts conformed to modern grammar and the structure of modern language, I assumed that what I 'd recited was correct. This situation happened when I began to memorize Lun Yu. To avoid this, I would carefully review what I had recited from the book word by word, and paragraph by paragraph.

After I understood a paragraph and corrected missing words and mistakes, after a short period when I recited the same paragraph, I had to reinforce the memorization of it since I might miss some other words and make other mistakes. To repeat this, I enlightened that each Chinese character, each word and each sentence that I left out could absolutely not be ignored and missed. Moreover, no words that I had added or replaced could more accurately and clearly manifest the meaning of the Fa than those words from the sentences and paragraphs in the book.

I am not watching the most magnificent and benevolent Dafa through the light of the fireflies. I am looking inward from the perspective of a Dafa disciple, who is enlightening to different manifestations of Fa at the different layers of the universe through each Chinese character and word. By doing so, I feel that I have been rectified and cleansed, and that my body has been transformed and my Gong has been improved. From the bottom of my heart and from the extreme microcosm to the extreme macrocosm I can hardly express my endless gratitude to Master and Dafa.

When I began reading the Fa, I really met with some words that felt awkward to read and there were some texts that I couldn't recite well. However, when my attitude changed to be more humble and I memorized the Fa again, I felt that I could read the book quite fluently and smoothly. Right now, I regard myself to be a truly rectified Dafa disciple when I am reading the Fa, and I really can feel the Fa taught by Master are the most profound and most magnificent words in the world. When I put the words that I missed back to the place where they belong, I feel that the Gong behind the exact words can be truly intricate only by doing so. Otherwise, the meaning of those sentences with the missing words are very superficial and not refined. When I corrected my errors and used the words that Master has chosen in the Fa, I feel that places inside my body that were clogged and closed are suddenly opened up, and a whole new world is in front of my eyes. The magic words of the Fa that cause such wonderful things to happen cannot be replaced with any other words. When I put back the sentences that I omitted, I feel that the parts from the extreme microcosm to the extreme macrocosm, all the parts of my body are assimilating to the different layers of the Fa, without any deviations and any omissions.

If we read the Fa the way we read ordinary books, we can only know the superficial meaning of the words. It's just like returning empty-handed when leaving a treasure house. As true cultivators, we should study the Fa with great respect from the bottom of our hearts and with a humble attitude. As insignificant as water, we should memorize every single Chinese character, word and sentence without any omission. When I read some parts of the book that I felt to be a bit awkward to read, it's only because there was something wrong with my thoughts and I had some bad notions that should be gotten rid of. When I felt that I couldn't breathe smoothly when I was reading the Fa, it's only because my own world was opaque and gray, and the flow of my thoughts zigzagged and was not smooth at all. The reason that I missed a certain Chinese character, word or sentence and I kept missing them again and again is that the dimensions within my domain were missing them, and were therefore incomplete, and they could not be fixed completely at once. Therefore, only by studying the Fa and cultivating ourselves in Falun Dafa, can we rectify ourselves, refine all the aspects of us that are not wise enough and not harmonized, rebuild our true selves to be more harmonized and indestructible, and thus renew a more magnificent universe and gain a splendid future.

Since intellectuals think rationally and they seldom speak, I guess some similar situations that I mentioned above happen among them. However, we should remind ourselves that in Zhuan Falun, Master does give lectures on many aspects, and the Fa has tremendously profound meanings.

Let's return to the subject discussed at the beginning of this article. In the first paragraph, I mentioned the experience sharing on our righteous thoughts, personal security, the attachment of fear, and our professional techniques. In my view, acting according to our righteous thoughts doesn't just mean that we aren't afraid of the evil and being concerned about personal safety isn't only to avoid being persecuted by the evil. Our techniques are not simply the ordinary people's techniques, since matter and mind are one. We all know that since we were all little, the CCP had brainwashed us and also we all came from the old universe which hadn't been rectified and was therefore not harmonized and with incomplete wisdom. A fatal mistake is to split everything into pieces and then regard one piece as the whole, missing words and sentences when we are studying the Fa. And we then have only shallow and superficial understandings of the Fa and cannot fully understand the meaning of the Fa. However, during the Fa-rectification period, we are required to have more profound and more harmonized understandings when we study the Fa.

In my view, the main reason that many Dafa disciples all over the country are being persecuted recently is that as a whole body of Dafa disciples, we don't study Fa sufficiently. Therefore, I'm sharing my own opinions about this issue. And I hope practitioners can think further about this and share their own understandings. If there is anything inappropriate, please point it out to me.
