(Clearwisdom.net) Almost 2000 people watched the Chinese Spectacular by Divine Performing Arts in Calgary on April 30. Many Chinese people enjoyed the show and said it made them feel proud.

Mr. Zhang Zhenlong, the leader of Chinese Democracy Association in Calgary, saw the show with his wife. He said, "The show touches everybody's heart. It is unforgettable. Every program was excellent. The live orchestra was amazing, too."

"The dance 'The Risen Lotus Flower' touched me the most. I was deeply moved that the Falun Gong practitioner refused to give up her belief even in the face of death. She was so peaceful. I could not hold back my tears," said Mr. Zhang. "It is wrong that the persecution lasts so long. People should wake up now."

"The dance 'The Loyalty of Yue Fei' demonstrated out traditional values, which are precious for Chinese people. But those values were ruined by the communist party. Divine Performing Arts is trying to restore our culture and promote it in the world. The Westerners sitting around me were totally mesmerized by the show. Many Chinese people also brought their kids to the show. Once they learn about their own culture, the children will be proud of it."

Mr. Zhang pointed out, "The communist party tried to interfere with the show, because they are afraid that people learn the truth."

Mr. Lu Decheng, a famous democracy movement activist, brought his family to the show. He told the reporter, "Last year, I saw the show, but I was like a bystander, just an audience member. This year, I was totally in the show. I was caught up by it."

He said that he felt wonderful feeling during the show--he could not tell the difference between on-the-stage and off-the-stage. His felt heart was beating with actors, and his emotions changed with the actors. As he watched the dance "The Power of Awareness," Mr. Lu felt that he was one of the people on the stage who stood up against the evil.

Mr. Lu said, "I was attracted to Qi Xiaochun's Erhu solo last year. This year, I liked it even better. I also like the Mongolian Chopsticks dance. Chinese people should stand together against the persecution and say 'no' to the evil government. The communist party ruined the Chinese culture, so it is great and necessary that Divine Performing Arts is trying to restore it."
