Mother Arrested for Practicing Falun Gong, Young Twins Left at Home

(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Du Wenhui is a Falun Dafa practitioner in Lanzhou City. She was arrested two weeks ago and has been detained in the Gongjiawan Brainwashing Center of Lanzhou City since then. Her family members went many times to the brainwashing center to ask for her release. They were told that the arrest of Ms. Du Wenhui was an order from the 610 Office. When the family members went to the 610 Office and asked for her release, the 610 Office shifted its responsibility and said that the police department did not clearly know the situation and made a mistake in arresting Ms. Du. Finally they even said: "Over the past few years, Ms. Du has not been monitored."

Ms. Du began practicing Falun Dafa in 1996. After starting her cultivation practice, she was in good health and her mind was purified. She is a publicly-acknowledged good person. However, she was detained for 15 days only because she spoke favorably about Falun Dafa. Later, the police went to Ms. Du's rented apartment, tricked her, and sent her to the Hanjiahe Brainwashing Center. She was detained there for more than six months and not released until the session was dismissed. The police also charged her family about 1200 yuan for living costs.

After Ms. Du returned home, the 610 Office, the neighborhood committee and the police station sent people to harass her at her home and try to force her to write a 'guarantee letter'. Her landlord was afraid to bear responsibility and the rental company forced her to move two days before the Chinese New Year.

When Ms. Du was detained in the brainwashing center, her son and daughter, who are twins, were only eight months old. Her husband could not take care of their breakfast stand by himself and had to give it up. Without the income from the breakfast stand, her husband and children depended on their relatives' financial help.

After Ms. Du was released from the brainwashing center, she ran a flower shop with the relatives' help. They worked hard and led a peaceful life.

However, Du Wenhui was arrested again. Her young children are left at home, and her husband cannot work. No one is able to take care of the flower shop and it will have to be closed.
