After Quitting the CCP, House Was Undamaged in the Earthquake

On May 12, 2008, an earthquake shook Wenchuan County, Sichuan Province. The news sent shock waves throughout China and the rest of the world. The earthquake affected a large area, and many people were killed or injured. It was a tragic scene.

Leshan City, 260 kilometers (162 miles) away from Wenchuan, was also affected by the magnitude 6.1 earthquake. Almost all houses that were built with bricks or wood collapsed. But the houses belonging to Falun Gong practitioners and people who had quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) remained standing through the earthquake.

For example, Laosi (the pseudonym he used when he quit the CCP) lives in Yangwan Town, Shizhong District in Leshan City. He lives next to the village head who was involved in the persecution of Falun Gong. One half of the village head's house collapsed, but Laosi's house sustained no damage at all.

Quitting the CCP and its subordinate organizations is indeed a very serious matter, and it can save one's life.

Early this spring, when a practitioner in Tangshan City's Qian Aon District clarified the truth at a street fair, he came across a person who had already quit the CCP. This person told him that after quitting the CCP, she also told the facts to her family members and relatives and played the truth-clarification video (given to her by Dafa practitioners) for them and asked them to quit the CCP. At work, she also clarified the truth to co-workers, and helped them quit the CCP. Two people had already quit on her advice. She said that if everyone were to follow the principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance," then no police would be needed. She also said that when she told her friends about the harvesting of organs from living practitioners by the CCP, her friends reacted by strongly condemning the CCP. She said she would continue clarifying truth to more people and advise them to quit the CCP.

One day, several people came to pay us a visit. I seized the opportunity to clarify the truth to them, and persuade them to quit the CCP. Chai Ming, one of the visitors said, "Yes, I will quit. Falun Dafa is good. 'Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance' is good."

Not long after, Chai Ming was driving a four wheeler in the mountainous area with five other people on board. On a steep downhill road, the brakes suddenly failed. To make things worse, there was another car coming in the opposite direction and in order to avoid colliding with it, Chai Ming turned and landed his four wheeler in the ditch upside down. All his passengers, including him, were thrown out of the vehicle. When Chai Ming got up, he had no idea what had become of the other five people. To his surprise, except for one person who had a fractured forearm, all of the others were fine, with only minor bruises. Chai Ming was greatly relieved.

Afterwards, Chai Ming told me that he was very scared, thinking that all his passengers might be dead. I then told him that it was because he had quit the CCP and earnestly believed, "Falun Dafa is good! 'Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance' is good" that he was blessed. Cai Ming agreed, nodding his head repeatedly.

Cai Ming now often visits me to read truth-clarification materials. He also told me that he helped his wife and son quit the CCP. When people who are afraid of the CCP dare not talk about quitting, Cai Ming smiles and says, "We believe quitting the CCP brings us blessings."
