I am a Falun Gong practitioner living in Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. In 2005 and 2006, I clarified the truth to two laborers from Mianzhu City, Sichuan Province, and helped them to resign from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. A colleague of mine who hadn't belonged to any CCP organization believed what I said.

During the earthquake in Sichuan Province, they all remained safe, and their families were all fine. There was some damage to their pigsty, but their houses were both fine. My colleague's water storage compartment was damaged, but everything else was fine.

In mid-May, a Falun Gong practitioner clarified the truth to a government official. Initially, he refused to listen. Based on a merciful mindset for saving sentient beings, the practitioner told him peacefully and with wisdom, "Falun Dafa, with 'Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance,' is a mighty way with great virtue, to save sentient beings. Of course, the beings include you and me. If you refuse to listen to the truth and don't understand the truth, you give up the chance for you and your family to be saved."

Probably his knowing side felt the mercifulness of Dafa, so the government official accepted the truth-clarifying materials, including Cherish Your Predestined Relationship; Living Beings Need Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance; The 2008 Chinese New Year Spectacular; and So That's How It Is. He said, "I must look at these materials and try to understand what has happened." After several days, he called the practitioner and said, "Now I understand who is right and who is wrong. Please protect me!" The practitioner said, "Please relax. Dafa and Master will protect kind people for sure!" The practitioner helped him to resign from the CCP. On the second day, he arrived at the practitioner's home and requested a certificate of withdrawal and a Dafa amulet (1). Before he left, he requested one more Dafa amulet for his child.

1.) During the 2008 Chinese New Year, a practitioner went to her relatives' home. Her nephew knelt down in front of her as soon as he saw her. He said with tears, "Aunt, you saved my life!" Then, he related how he was hit by a car while he was riding his motorcycle. The motorcycle was completely destroyed and he was thrown four meters from the cycle. However, he was not injured at all.

Before the accident, his aunt had told him the truth about Falun Gong, helped him to resign from the CCP, and told him to recite "Falun Dafa is good." The young man listened to his aunt and did everything she said. As a result, he was safe.

2.) Another nephew of the practitioner was on a business trip to Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, when the earthquake hit. He and two other colleagues were staying in a hotel. While taking an afternoon nap, he felt that someone was pushing him to wake him up. This young man felt the earthquake and ran out of the hotel. Just 100 meters away, he heard a sound, "Boom!" He turned back and looked. The hotel collapsed and he was the only one left.

I am a Falun Gong practitioner from Bei Town, Liaoning Province. The following incident happened at my home.

On April 19, 2005, my daughter-in-law had a C-section at a local hospital. After a long time, the doctor brought the infant to us and told us that the infant had a congenital condition of the knees, which were facing in the opposite direction, with the calves facing forward, and that the child would always suffer as a result of this condition throughout its life. My son and daughter-in-law could not accept this and were wondering if they should give up the child. However, my daughter-in-law still wanted to keep the child.

Because I am a Falun Gong practitioner, I told my daughter-in-law to recite, "Falun Dafa is good," and to believe that Dafa would bring miracles. In the evening, we straightened the infant's legs with cloth strips so that its legs would not bend forward. (This was the only thing that we could do.) On the third day, other family members insisted that we take the child to a big hospital for a thorough examination. After the exam, the doctor told us the same story and claimed that the chance for the child to be normal was very small.

During the whole time, I reminded all the relatives to recite "Falun Dafa is good." After one week, the child's legs became normal. Now the child is four years old and very healthy. All our family members greatly appreciate Master Li's grace.

(1) Amulet -- In China, practitioners sometimes clarify the truth by giving people something small to wear or cherish, bearing a few words reminding them of the goodness of Dafa.
