Experiencing the Progress of Fa-Rectification in Everyday Life

An elderly relative of mine considered himself a hard-working, successful government official with broad experience. Although he did not agree with many injustices in society, he thought this was the natural situation of society. My many attempts to clarify the truth to him failed. Recently, all of a sudden he felt uncomfortable all over his body. After numerous visits to various doctors, no one could definitively diagnose his illness.

Once again I tried to persuade him to listen to Teacher's audio lectures and told him about the positive changes my family and I have experienced after practicing Falun Gong. He started to listen to the lectures, but was still doubtful. After finishing the nine audio lecture, he felt Teacher's Fa was clear. But he continued to visit various major medical centers and some non-traditional doctors.

After he watched the DVD of a show by Divine Performing Arts, he said, "It was pretty good. All the programs were good and they were traditional Chinese culture. Tenor Guan Guimin also was in there singing. I still remember him from the old days. His singing was really good." I told him that Guan Guimin is the vice chairman of Divine Performing Arts and a Falun Gong practitioner. Furthermore, I told him that in fact all the performers in the show are practitioners. He said, "I believe Guan Guimin is smarter than I am. ... Let me start learning Falun Gong from you."

In recent days, I could obviously feel that some ordinary people who were against Dafa have begun to change their minds and attitude toward Dafa. Some of them have started to read Falun Gong books and listen to the audio lectures. Some have started to recite "Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance is good!" by heart. Some have started to proactively practice the Falun Gong exercises and study the Fa together with practitioners. I think the change is partly due to our getting rid of attachments through cultivation. It is also the result of the Fa-rectification progressing forward, eliminating large amounts of the old cosmic matter in other dimensions, and rectifying people's hearts and minds in this world.

One day my teeth hurt all of a sudden while listening to the audio lectures together with the elder relative. I tried to look inward for any reason in my xinxing and also sent forth righteous thoughts but failed. As I did not find other means, I appealed to Teacher for a solution. As soon as I appealed to Teacher, the pain went away. But it came back soon afterwards. I repeated this a few times and got frustrated. I said to myself, "Tomorrow I will just find a place to pull that tooth out. I am not treating it as an illness so I am not going to seek medical treatment. It should be okay to just get rid of the tooth." In fact, my thoughts were not based on the Fa at the time. Then I recalled the teaching, "The root cause of their problem and all their misfortune is karma, that black-matter karmic field. It's yin in nature, and it's something bad. Those bad beings are also yin in nature, they're all black, and that's why they can come onto the body--the environment suits them." (Zhuan Falun, http://www.falundafa.org/book/eng/zfl_new.html)

I came to the following enlightenment. No matter what the cause was for my toothache, in other dimensions it was all due to that location not being completely assimilated to "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance." There was a negative environment in that location of my tooth, which was why the bad matter existed there. So I sent forth a righteous thought: Eliminate all interference and let all matter and beings in other dimensions surrounding the aching tooth assimilate to "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance" immediately. I also visualized that each character of "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance" was put on the aching location. After a minute the aching went away. Later it happened twice and disappeared after my thought was sent out. Two days later, the aching and loose tooth recovered and was as strong as before the pain started.

I also came to understand that along with Fa-rectification progressing forward, we must assimilate all matter in our own dimensions to the principle of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" in order to better carry out the three things and return home with Teacher after consummation.
