By Reciting "Falun Dafa Is Good," I Recovered From a Stroke

(Clearwisdom.net) I am 84 years old, and I live in Shahe City, Hebei Province. On January 31, 2008, I had a sudden stroke, and I could not move one of my arms and one of my legs. I was sent to the city hospital. The doctors said that because of my age, all they could do was give me medication intravenously for a number of days, and then I could go home. After that, I would not get any better even with more medicine.

Because it was almost Chinese New Year, I went home after spending four days in the hospital. I also took some medicine home, but there was no sign of improvement. I still could not control my bladder and bowels. I was often wet, I could not speak clearly, and I drooled. Someone had to feed me. I was suffering very much.

More than one person was needed to take care of me. My son and daughter-in-law were worried. My son could not go to work, and my family could not make a living. I have only one son and had no one else to help. My son was very worried.

One day, a Falun Dafa practitioner visited me. She asked, "Do you want to recover?" I replied that I did. She asked me to sincerely recite "Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness, Benevolence, and Forbearance are good." She suggested that I try it and said that the effect would be good. I immediately recited the phrases. My son and daughter-in-law also recited them. The result was that my health improved each day. In two weeks, I was able to dress myself and get out of bed. I could also feed myself and speak clearly.

After 20 days, I could go to the bathroom using a cane. I could go out into the yard. Soon after, I could walk two laps around my house without a cane.

I am really happy. I did not think I would ever be able to stand again. Falun Dafa saved my family and me. From the bottom of my heart, I thank Teacher Li for giving me new life.

I will tell all my friends and neighbors that Falun Dafa teaches people to be good, and that it can cure illnesses and keeps people physically and mentally well. Do not be fooled by the lies of the Chinese Communist Party. Do not burn the bridge that you can benefit from. Please listen to the true words of Falun Dafa practitioners. These truths are real and can save people.
