(Clearwisdom.net) I am a new practitioner who obtained the Fa in October 2007. At the beginning of my cultivation, I often thought, "Will Master take care of me? Can I reach consummation? What should I do?" As I continued to read the book Zhuan Falun and study Master's lectures, many of my human notions and thoughts disappeared. I have developed a firm belief in Dafa and Master and the determination to cultivate.

As I studied the Fa further, I deeply felt Master's benevolence and the perfect harmony of Dafa. It is not coincidental that I walked into Dafa during the last period of Master's Fa-rectification. I cannot express how grateful I am to Master. Since I have obtained the Fa, I deeply understand that I came here for the Fa. Therefore, I have been walking on the path Master arranged for me and I tell myself: "Do not miss this most magnificent chance. Things in the human world are nothing compared to Dafa." I have really enlightened to "Having heard the Dao in the morning, one can die in the evening." ("Melt Into the Fa," from Essentials for Further Advancement)

When I first obtained the Fa, I did not study the Fa enough and did not have a good understanding of the Fa principles. I had a strong mentality of "doing things" that caused me to be unsuccessful in some tasks, and I took some unnecessary detours. After putting more focus on Fa study and experience sharing with fellow practitioners, I realized that in order to do well in Fa validation, we must study the Fa well, follow the Fa principles and eliminate human notions and thoughts in order to purify ourselves. When we are clear on the Fa principles and then clarify the truth and save sentient beings, we will receive unexpectedly good effects. As long as we use the Fa as our basis and maintain our righteous mindset, we will walk well on the path Master arranged for us. Only when we melt into the Fa, will the things we do not deviate from the right path, and our attachments will be eliminated. The things we do will be most sacred.

We all know that time is precious. For the new practitioners, we not only have to catch up with personal cultivation, but we also have to be in line with the standard of a Dafa practitioner in the Fa-rectification period to do well the three things. Cultivation is very serious. We should not change the standard for ourselves regardless of whether we are new practitioners or senior ones. We should follow the direction of Dafa and walk well our own cultivation path. We should not slack off just because we are new practitioners.

Master has emphasized many times the importance of sending forth righteous thoughts. However, I noticed that there are still some new or senior practitioners who still do not pay enough attention to sending forth righteous thoughts. Master said:

"Then if every student is able to do that, I can tell you, with five minutes of sending forth righteous thoughts together, the evil in the Three Realms will never exist again--that's how important this is." ("Fa-Lecture at the Conference in Florida, U.S.A.")

Therefore, I think that every practitioner should pay great attention to sending forth righteous thoughts.

In the process of clarifying the truth and exhorting people to quit the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliated organizations to save sentient beings, I went from not knowing how to do it to gradually doing it better. I have constantly improved in my understanding of the Fa principles. I realized that regardless of whether it is Fa-validation or cultivation, everything we do, although it appears that it is we who are doing it, it is in fact all done by Master. Master has been so benevolent to sentient beings. I would like to express my gratitude to Master for helping me become a true Dafa disciple.

Veteran practitioners have built solid foundations for our new practitioners. You have protected the Fa with your lives, assisted Master in Fa-rectification and built today's Fa study environment.

Just as Master has said:

"Being able to come through under that kind of long-term, awful torment--you can't compare that to enduring momentary pain or to something driven by impulse. That's why I say that Dafa disciples are outstanding. Today I can tell you this: Dafa disciples are magnificent, and you've established Dafa's magnificence in validating the Fa in the human world." ("Teaching the Fa at the 2003 Midwest-U.S. Fa Conference")

The content of Dafa is enormously profound. This is only my own understanding. Please point out anything inappropriate.
