How Gods Have Blessed China

(Clearwisdom.net) Since Buddhism was spread to China around two thousand years ago, the Chinese people have shown their gratitude to the Buddha for his mercy and compassion, and the Chinese people have greatly benefited from the enlightened beings who have offered assistance and salvation. Among them, Bodhisattva Guanyin enjoyed the most respect among the people. In western religions, there have also been many incidents where believers were able to get out of danger by praying to God, Jesus or St. Mary. The Chinese people have a saying, "There are gods three feet above your head." When people truly hold to their beliefs, they will get blessings and help from the enlightened beings. This belief is common among righteous paths of cultivation.

Falun Gong is a righteous way of cultivation, and stories of such blessings coming to believers are common. In February 2004, Clearwisdom.net started to report incidents in which people survived disasters by reciting "Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good." In 2007 and 2008 especially, almost every day there have been two or three such reports posted on Minghui/Clearwisdom.net.

For example, in August 2004, eight-year-old Yuchun went to visit her aunty, who told her about the facts of Falun Gong and told her she must always remember, "Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good." On the third day after Yuchun went back home, playing at a local market, she was knocked over by a pedi-cab which was reversing fast. As she hit the ground, one wheel ran over her abdomen. People around were dumbstruck by what they saw, then they quickly sent Yuchun to a hospital. The doctors took a series of x-rays and carefully examined Yuchun, but they found nothing wrong with Yuchun, neither internally nor externally. There was not even a bruise or any bleeding on her skin. Everyone felt it was remarkable.

Less than three months later, little Yuchun experienced another life and death situation. On November 3, Yuchun had an unstoppable nose bleed. She was taken to a hospital and was put on an intravenous drip. Then she started to vomit mouthfuls of blood. The county hospital diagnosed it as a prenatal heart disease, and because she had lost much blood, her life was in danger.

Hearing the bad news, Yuchun's aunty rushed to the hospital. By then, little Yuchun was in a coma and her life was in great danger. Yuchun's aunty put her mouth next to Yuchun's ear and kept saying to her, "Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good." While she was saying this, she also said to Yuchun, "Hurry up and say this with Aunty." Yuchun's lips moved and she said with a weak and cracking voice "Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good." Not long after, Yuchun slowly opened her eyes and said to people around her softly, "Dafa is good." Her family members all had tears of joy to see her out of danger. In just a few days, Yuchun regained her health. Doctors and patients, alike, in the hospital witnessed and experienced the wonder and the beauty of Falun Dafa.

There have been many such cases: some elderly have fully recovered from late stage stomach cancer; some children have regained health from suffering from a heartbeat disorder; some middle-aged have recovered from two forms of cancer. They regained their health by reciting, "Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good." According to a rough estimate, there have been over one thousand such cases reported in which things took a turn for the better and people were out of danger. In the last few years, there have also been several hundreds of cases in which lives were miraculously saved or people enjoyed a smooth life and a successful career as a result of their quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations. No wonder that whenever Falun Gong practitioners hold up banners with the words: "Falun Dafa is good" "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good" "Quit the CCP and Save Yourself," it has such a miraculous effect.

Falun Gong has such miraculous effects. Then what about Falun Gong practitioners? Do they conduct themselves so well? Are they like what has been reported by Xinhua News Agency (China's state-run media propaganda mouthpiece) as being unpatriotic, unconcerned about the victims of the earthquake? The "Solemn Statements" posted on Clearwisdom.net show the answer. These "Solemn Statements" were made by Falun Gong practitioners who had been unlawfully arrested and taken to labor camps, brainwashing centers or prisons, where under enormous pressure they promised that they would not practice Falun Gong any more and/or were forced to curse the Founder of Falun Gong. Such conduct was against their conscience, causing them great pain and feelings of guilt. So after they regained their freedom, they made these statements of repentance, expressing that they would correct their earlier mistakes. There have been hundreds of thousands of such statements posted on Clearwisdom.net, from which we can see just how extensively the CCP has persecuted Falun Gong practitioners. We have read many such statements and found that in most statements, Falun Gong practitioners said they would "clarify the facts and save sentient beings." This shows that even after these practitioners had endured enormous physical and mental torment, what they have in mind is still saving others, helping more people to learn the truth; that "Falun Dafa is good" and "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good." They still think about others' well-being when they themselves are suffering. How can they possibly be unconcerned about the victims of the earthquake?

Faced with such a disaster, the victims need assistance and support. However, a great number of Falun Gong practitioners have very little savings because of the CCP's policy of "cutting off their financial resources." Seeing the difficult situations of the victims, Falun Gong practitioners are extremely concerned. A bit of money may offer some temporary relief, but how would they survive the rough and bumpy life afterwards? To Falun Gong practitioners, only by helping people realize "Falun Dafa is good" and "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good" and by helping them quit the CCP, the Communist Youth League and the Young Pioneers can people truly enjoy safety. The act of Falun Gong practitioners telling people life-saving verses is doing a thoroughly good deed, and it is truly bringing safety to people. It is a deed of great compassion!
