Validating Oneself Versus Validating Dafa

(Clearwisdom.net) Validating oneself and validating Dafa are fundamentally different, and the results are also drastically different.

Dafa is everlasting, and Dafa is the principle of the cosmos. By validating Dafa, the practitioners show sentient beings the true goodness of Dafa and provide guidance for later generations. Validating Dafa is thus an altruistic act.

Each Dafa practitioner is different, so their paths of cultivation are different, as well. Validating oneself can satisfy one's own vanity and has no other use. Validating oneself is not altruistic and can heighten one's ego, hinder one's improvement, and affect the salvation of sentient beings.
