Three Falun Dafa Practitioners from Hongjiang City, Hunan Province Arrested

(Clearwisdom.net) On May 28, 2008, people from Hongjiang City Police Bureau and the 610 Office illegally arrested three Falun Dafa practitioners from Anjiang Township in Hongjiang City.

On the morning of May 28, police officers from Hongjiang City illegally broke into Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Wang Biyun's home. They ransacked the home, arrested Ms. Wang, and then illegally detained her at Baihunao Detention Center in Anjiang Township. At 7:00 p.m., police officers broke into Ms. Yang Jinlan's home, and arrested Ms. Yang, who is in her seventies, then illegally detained her at the Anjiang Township Baihunao Detention Center. On May 30, each was extorted of 800 yuan before they were released.

At 8:00 a.m. on May 28, police officers Yi Zhongxian, Wang Zhiguang, Duan Liu, and other officers (about 10 people in total) arrested practitioner Ms. Xue Baoyu on her way to work. The police then broke into Ms. Xue's parent's home, using an axe to break down the front door. They confiscated her son's computer, printer, and an MP3 player. The three items were valued at over 4,000 yuan. Currently Ms. Xue is illegally detained at Anjiang Township Baihu Detention Center.

On the afternoon of May 28, six police officers broke into practitioner Ms. Li Julan's home. They forced open her cabinets and then confiscated all of her Falun Dafa books.

According to a witness, people from the 610 Office told practitioner Ms. Yi Xianmei, who teaches at Tangwan Township in Hongjiang City, that they would give her 5,000 yuan in exchange for taking her to the Huaihua City Brainwashing Center. They also claimed that conditions there are great. Ms. Yi refused. Practitioners reading this note, please send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate evil factors at 11:00 p.m. every night.
