A Discussion with Practitioners in Harbin on Cooperating As One Body

(Clearwisdom.net) The persecution of Falun Gong has been very severe in Harbin over the past years. Looking at this from within the Fa, I believe that we have not formed an indestructible and perfectly harmonizing body. We have not been able to unconditionally cooperate with each other. Teacher spoke in the "Fa Teaching Given to the Australian Practitioners" about the lack of cooperation among practitioners. Some practitioners think themselves to be above all, do not trust each other, and validate themselves.

In my understanding, a practitioner must eliminate the notion of self, cooperate with others, and become one body. When I heard that police had arrested Harbin practitioners, I immediately discussed the situation with fellow practitioners. I suggested that we needed to encourage the family members of the illegally arrested practitioners to go to the police station and demand the practitioners' release.

Therefore, some of us went with the families to the police station, some sent righteous thoughts next to the police station or at home, and some distributed truth-clarification flyers about the arrest of practitioners and the persecution of Falun Gong. We cooperated as one body to rescue the practitioners. Most practitioners were in favor of doing what we had discussed, while several counseled against it. Their concern was who would be responsible if the practitioners who went to the police station to secure the release of those arrested also were arrested. They wondered, "We are being persecuted, so is it safe to go to the police station?"

Several practitioners worried that we did not have a good coordinator. I disagreed. I think that we all are coordinators. If anyone of us passes the message to all the practitioners we know, aren't we coordinating?

There is an article on the Minghui/Clearwisdom website, "Do Not Differentiate Between Fa-Rectification Projects; 'A Great Way Has No Form' But Exists As a Whole (With Master's Comments)" (http://www.clearwisdom.net/emh/articles/2003/2/17/32250.html). Master commented:

"Different approaches are in fact the all-encompassing way in which roles are dynamically distributed in the operations of the Fa, and the Fa-power is a reflection of the one body."

The article stated, "When we as individuals regard projects that are not assigned to us as other people's things, our whole body will be unwittingly divided into many small pieces, and the powerful strength of the whole will be weakened into scattered pockets of strength. Moreover, when we have different opinions or have arguments, we further weaken each others' strengths. The purpose for dividing up the task of saving sentient beings into different projects is merely for the sake of convenience in doing the work, rather than intentionally forming divisions. We should still be one whole body and we should be able to form one whole body at anytime or anywhere-- that's what the right state should be. We may have different understandings of the Fa due to our different cultivation levels. These differences should not weaken us but instead strengthen us. We should be going in the same direction together and supporting each other. We should be concerned about everything as if it were our own, have a clear understanding on every issue and understand things based on the Fa as much as we can, so that we don't form any divisions within our whole body. Only by accomplishing this can we keep up with the progress of Fa-rectification. Otherwise, there is no need for the evil to try to split us, as we would have already divided ourselves into many pieces. Isn't this a big omission?"

It is my sincerest wish that all Harbin practitioners who get this message begin to cooperate with and help each other. We do not ask every practitioner to be involved in any particular effort, but we all should understand the need to cooperate and rescue practitioners that have been illegally arrested.

Based on your condition, expose the evil and clarify the truth. That will be cooperation as one body. In fact, every practitioner has supernatural powers. When we all understand, support, and cooperate with each other, even if we are not involved in every specific task, the evil will be dissolved, because our righteous thoughts can eliminate the evil.
