US West Divine Land Marching Band Performs in Alameda County Fair Parade (Photos)


(Clearwisdom.net) On June 21, the US West Divine Land Marching Band participated in the Alameda County Fair Parade. During its first-ever performance in the county, the band played "Falun Dafa Is Good" and "Drums and Trumpets Shake the World in Ten Directions" along the parade route and received warm applause from the audience.

Many spectators clapped their hands to the drums or danced. One woman and her husband were very impressed by the band. She said: "Falun Gong's marching band is great. We heard the music even when the band was still far away. The music is very clear and great."

Dianne knew about the persecution of Falun Gong in China and she firmly believes that any persecution, anywhere, is wrong.

According to one of the parade organizers, the Alameda County Fair parade is one of the best in California, as it features many groups with different cultural backgrounds. He said: "Falun Gong's marching band gave a wonderful presentation. I noticed one unique feature of this band--its members include male, female, elderly and young players. Marching in the over 100 F heat, it is really amazing."
