(Clearwisdom.net) Practitioner Ms. Zhang Peiying is over sixty years old and a retiree from the Faku County Food Company. She received many benefits after she began practicing Falun Dafa. Because she practices Falun Dafa and lives her life according to Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, she has been persecuted in recent years by the CCP.

On June 18, 2001, a group of police from the Tuanjie Police Station in Faku County illegally ransacked Ms. Zhang's home. Her home was turned upside down and her bed was ripped apart. The police confiscated all of her Dafa books, tape recorder and tapes. They even took her grocery bag with groceries and money inside, a notebook, and three bottles of liquor and an opened pack of cigarettes left behind when her husband passed away.

After the ransacking, Ms. Zhang was taken to Longshan Forced Labor Camp in Shenyang City and sentenced to forced labor for one year. She suffered greatly during that time.

In 2002, only a few days passed after Ms. Zhang returned home from labor camp before the police from Tuanjie Police Station started harassing her at home. This forced Ms. Zhang to leave home to avoid further persecution. During this time, Faku County Food Company stopped giving Ms. Zhang her pension.

In 2004, Ms. Zhang returned home one day. Her sister-in-law told her that the 610 Office head Zhang Hongxi and the Political Section chief Ni Deqi had passed a message to her: If she returned, then they would stop harassing her and her pension would be restored. After hearing this, Ms. Zhang returned home on July 21, 2004. Zhang Hongxi and Ni Deqi gave her the pension, but they deducted a thousand yuan and didn't provide any reason. When Ms. Zhang asked Zhang Hongxi for a receipt, he said angrily, "I think you should be inside prison!" He pushed Ms. Zhang out the door.

In 2004, Zhang Hongxi led a group of police to once again ransack Ms. Zhang's home. They confiscated her cell phone, tape recorder, copier and other items worth over ten thousand yuan. He personally took Ms. Zhang's pension booklet and withdrew one month of pension (three hundred thirty yuan) that same day without any paperwork. He took Ms. Zhang to the notorious Masanjia Forced Labor Camp, where she was sentenced to one year of forced labor.

In the labor camp, Ms. Zhang was subjected to brainwashing numerous times. Because she refused to give up Falun Gong, Ms. Zhang and another practitioner Ms. Sun Jiping were taken to a warehouse, handcuffed to shelves, forced to listen to tape recordings slandering Dafa and shocked with electric batons. Ms. Zhang was later taken to the "Strict Control Ward" and imprisoned in an isolated room. She was not forced to remain sitting on a small, backless stool for long periods of time.

To resist the illegal persecution, Ms. Zhang and a few other practitioners took off their labor camp uniforms and refused to sit on the stools. Guards responded by torturing them one by one outside. In an office, Ms. Zhang was held down on the floor by over ten guards. They forced the uniform on and handcuffed her to a heating pipe. In the next three days, they repeated this to Ms. Zhang after breakfast. On the fourth day, Ms. Zhang fainted on the bed after her blood pressure increased. Guards then treated practitioner Ms. Dong Jingya the same way, handcuffing her from 7 or 8 a.m. to 7 or 8 p.m. Guard Ren Hongzan (male) was especially vicious in persecuting practitioners.

Faced with persecution from the CCP, practitioners went on a hunger strike to resist the persecution. On July 16, 2005, after guards force fed Ms. Zhang, they poured a bowl of boiling water down her throat. This burned Ms. Zhang severely and she rolled on the floor for two to three hours. The guards who participated included Gao Yuntian (male), Doctor Feng and another guard surnamed Tu.
