In some cases, the police went to arrest people from their homes, asked for everyone's name and arrested those whose name was on their list. The police gave no reasons and didn't present any search or arrest warrants at the scene. Until now, none of the families of those Dafa disciples who were arrested illegally received any kind of criminal or domestic violation notice.
Ms. Jiao Jian was born in July 1967. She started to practice Dafa in 1996. In 2001, before the National Sports Games in Guangzhou were about to open, she was arrested as the Manager of Sohu Internet Company, Guangzhou Branch. She was later sentenced to three years in a labor camp. She refused to be brainwashed while she was in the labor camp, refused to write any kind of letters of repentance, and she was severely persecuted as a consequence. She was allowed to see doctors outside only after her left foot was crippled by torture.
On the day that Ms. Jiao Jian disappeared, nobody from her company knew where she was. Later her family went to the police to look for her, and they admitted that she was inside, but still refused to give any kind of documents. Up to now, her family has not received any kind of notice. Her family went to the police several times to ask for her and did not get any reply. Ms. Jiao's family doesn't have any information about her at this time.
