Understanding the Truth Brings Benefits, Ignoring the Truth Does Not--Three Separate Instances

On May 12, a huge earthquake occurred in Sichuan, and the city of Dujiangyan suffered the heaviest damage. My aunt's family lived in Dujiangyan. After the earthquake, my mother was terribly worried about her sister and her family. She and my aunt eventually made contact, and my aunt told us that all three members of her family were fine. My aunt experienced only a minor scratch when she ran outside during the earthquake, because all of the buildings in their area collapsed. The family had to move elsewhere.

Last summer, my aunt went back to Zhucheng to visit relatives, taking her sophomore son with her. My mother told my aunt and her son the truth about Falun Dafa. She told them that heaven will eliminate the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and that quitting the CCP, the Youth League, and the Young Pioneers would bring them peace. During that time, my mother helped all of my aunt's family members quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. When they left, my mother reminded them to remember that "Falun Dafa is good" and urged them to tell my uncle to quit the CCP. They readily agreed.

I believe that Dafa saved my aunt's family. We hope more people will learn the truth about Dafa, more people will quit the evil CCP organizations as soon as possible, and more people will be saved when disaster happens.

Mr. Liu Heping was previously the security director of Zuojiafang Village, Huaian County, Hebei Province. Ever since the CCP began persecuting Falun Gong on July 20, 1999, Mr. Liu has actively cooperated with Huaian Town CCP authorities to ransack Dafa practitioners' homes and fine them repeatedly. For doing these things he earned a paltry salary.

Although practitioners clarified the truth to him, Liu not only didn't listen but also cursed and slandered Dafa in public.

He had been healthy but suddenly felt unwell in the spring of 2004. He went to a hospital where he was diagnosed with stomach cancer. He suffered severe pain until he died on August 9, 2004. He was only 44.

A village CCP secretary in Huaian County actively helped the CCP authorities persecute practitioners right from the start. Practitioners advised him not to take part in the persecution, but he completely denied any responsibility. He said he just followed instructions from his superiors and could not do otherwise.

In February 2008, unpredictable disaster befell him. A family employee fell off a shed and instantly fell into a coma. After visiting several hospitals, his family was told that the patient had no hope of recovering, and even if the patient came out of the coma, he would be paralyzed.

Practitioners once again clarified the truth to the CCP secretary, asked him to sincerely recite "Falun Dafa is good," and reminded him that good deeds are rewarded. This time he listened, and he also declared that he quit the CCP. To everyone's surprise, the injured employee is improving day-by-day. After a month in the hospital he could get himself to the restroom and is now resting at home. I hope this secretary can change his attitude towards Dafa completely, no longer persecute Dafa, and have a bright future.

Human life is precious. We hope that many more people will quit the CCP organizations and secure for themselves a peaceful and safe future.
