Treat the Flushing Incidents with Righteous Thoughts to Keep up with Fa-rectification

(Clearwisdom.net) After creating DVD copies of the video program entitled, "Why was Falun Gong Maligned Regarding the Sichuan Earthquake?" I went out to distribute them and suddenly felt fearful. I returned home, and while looking inward trying to find the reason for the fear, I found that it was the result of poor enlightenment. As for distributing the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, I watched the DVD many times myself and I knew from the bottom of my heart that I was saving people and I knew clearly the importance of eliminating the communist evil specter. As for distributing the DVD of the "2008 Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular," I knew every performance of the show was a classical work of art, depicting traditional Chinese culture which was passed on by divine beings to awaken righteous thoughts of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance," which lay deep in the hearts of sentient beings. Therefore, I felt that handing them out was a very sacred act. In contrast, when distributing the DVD, "Why was Falun Gong Maligned Regarding the Sichuan Earthquake?" I was not inspired to save people nor did I feel the sacredness of being a Falun Gong practitioner, as I usually had in doing other Dafa projects. Therefore, I just treated handing out the DVD as a job.

Having found my shortcoming, I watched the footage of the incident in Flushing once again while burning the DVD. It was a revised edition of June 9. I had watched the program twice before but this time I had a totally different enlightenment from my previous viewing. At first, I thought that the Flushing incidents were about the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) mobs being arrested by the police in New York City for assaulting Falun Gong practitioners. Then I realized that at this critical moment of the quitting the CCP movement, what the CCP is trying to do is to stop practitioners from saving people--it was sabotage of a very vicious nature. Looking at it on the surface, it was a violent attack in the international community to frame Falun Gong and divert the word's attention in an effort to cover up the truth of heavy casualties suffered in the Sichuan Earthquake. The CCP has also secretely arrested large numbers of practitioners to ensure the "safety" of the Beijing Olympics.

The CCP is afraid that a large number of foreign reporters will learn the truth about the persecution of Falun Gong and expose it. I enlightened that the practitioners inside and outside China are of one body. The violent attacks by the CCP's mobs abroad was in fact targeting Dafa. It was an attack on Dafa as much as it was persecution of Dafa and practitioners. The Flushing events can be seen as the last ditch effort by the communist evil specter before it is eliminated, like a spur of activity prior to death. We must send forth the most powerful righteous thoughts to disintegrate all evil factors and eliminate all rotten demons and ghosts which interfere with Dafa. I felt that when distributing the DVD, I had these righteous thoughts and thus created a powerful energy field. If I failed to enlighten from my xinxing, then my righteous thoughts would not come out, and therefore the surrounding environment would not be improved. This would be a loophole for the evil forces to take advantage of and my limited mental state would create the mentality of fear. I would therefore fail to achieve the result of saving sentient beings.

When I enlightened to this I began sending forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil factors and made sure that both my thoughts and actions were righteous. After that, when I subsequently went out to distribute the DVD about the incident in Flushing, I felt the evil forces in Flushing were disintegrated very quickly.

I looked inward once again, and I wondered whether fellow practitioners in China took the assault against practitioners abroad as an assault on ourselves or Dafa, and whether we had the righteous thought of safeguarding the Fa and overseas practitioners? This is a new situation in Fa-rectification. The practitioners abroad did what they had to do. The practitioners in China should not be in a state of indifference, but should keep up with the process of Fa-rectification. We must form one body to generate the most powerful righteous thoughts, just like the announcer said during the "2008 Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular" when introducing the program "Chopstick Zest," "We must merge all our strength together as one." We must save people ever more quickly and practitioners around the world must become one body. Only when our righteous thoughts become a very powerful righteous field can we throughly eliminate all the evil factors.

Teacher said in his Fa lectures that everything has come for the Fa. He also said that the whole world will express their views on the CCP. The Flushing incident is a new situation in the process of Fa-rectification. Practitioners in China and abroad, and those in Shanghai in particular, must keep up with the process of Fa-rectification. Shanghai is a city with a huge population. It is also the birthplace of the CCP, so local practitioners have a responsibility to eliminate the communist evil specter and save local sentient beings.
