The Importance of Clarifying the Truth Face-to-Face

(Clearwisdom.net) A change in the celestial climate has brought about heavy snow, hand-foot-mouth disease, a big earthquake, and flooding in China. As of June 1, 2008, 37,600,000 people had quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations. I believe that these recent disasters are alerting people that the collapse of the CCP is getting closer.

I recently noticed that some people were poisoned by the deceptive propaganda of the CCP's mouthpiece China Central TV (CCTV), boasting the party's so-called "Greatness, Brightness and Uprightness." These people refuse, resist and even destroy the truth clarification material that our fellow practitioners produce by putting in much time and effort. Saving sentient beings is very urgent. To effectively expose the CCP's lies and better serve the purpose of saving sentient beings, I would like to share my understanding of clarifying the truth face-to-face.

I know that some practitioners in some areas have done very good work distributing truth-clarification materials, such as producing copies of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, but not much face-to-face truth-clarification has been done. One practitioner said that this was because everyone had different cultivation paths. Another practitioner thought that he did not know how to do it, and his character was not suitable for doing face-to-face truth-clarification. Some practitioners thought face-to-face truth-clarification was too hard; they lacked confidence. With many attachments of fear and worry, they were afraid of being arrested if they were unable to clarify the truth thoroughly to people. Some practitioners felt discouraged after trying several times and did not want to do it anymore. They hope to leave the face-to-face truth-clarification to other practitioners, while they themselves do something else that they feel comfortable with or are used to.

Master said in "Let Go of Human Attachments and Save the World's People":

"Dafa disciples, don't forsake the magnificent responsibility that has been bestowed upon you in Fa-rectification, and even less should you disappoint those beings, as you are now their only hope for entering the future. For this reason, all Dafa disciples, students both new and veteran, should get to work and begin comprehensively clarifying the truth. This is especially so for the Dafa disciples in Mainland China: each must come out and clarify the truth, bringing it to every field and valley, mountain and hill, not omitting a single area where there are people."

Face-to-face truth-clarification is also a process of looking inward to find and remove one's attachments, to improve xinxing, and to manifest one's mighty virtue. Currently, saving sentient beings is very urgent and also difficult. During face-to-face truth-clarification, you can easily find out what problem a person is stuck at. Based on my experience, many people have read our flyers, seen our banners, received our short messages on their cellphones, and listened to our truth-clarification phone calls, yet they still have questions. While doing the truth-clarification face-to-face, we can send forth righteous thoughts at close proximity to disintegrate the evil elements manipulating and interfering with people to understand the truth. When these elements are cleaned out, people will easily accept the truth.

Truth-clarification is part of my daily life. Wherever I am, either on a business trip or locally, I always clarify the truth to people I meet.

The process of clarifying the truth to people face-to-face is a process in which we can look inward, upgrade xinxing, and get rid of all kinds of human attachments. Sometimes, I have had bad thoughts, making me doubt myself while doing truth-clarification, such as "Can I explain the truth clearly?" "Will someone report me to the police?" "What if they refuse to listen to me?" and other various fears, worries and attachments to reputation. Whenever this happens or I became hesitant about what I was doing, I used the Fa to rectify myself. I am Dafa disciple, I am here to save people, fulfill my vows and assist Teacher in Fa-rectification. I cannot be indifferent to the sentient beings when they are in danger. I cannot be selfish, I should worry about sentient beings' safety. I send forth righteous thoughts to clean out all interference, and ask Master to please strengthen me. By doing so, I can always get good results. "Cultivation depends on one's own efforts, while the transformation of gong is done by one's master." (Zhuan Falun) When we have the strong thought to save people, Master will help us do it.

I have an aunt who had been a member of the CCP for almost forty years. She had been brainwashed by the CCP. Though she knew that the CCP is bad, she did not believe in anything else. She also thought that Falun Gong is involved in politics and had questions about the "three withdrawals" as well. I talked with her about the withdrawals from the CCP many times, and at the same time I kept looking inward and looked for the key problem that blocked her from accepting the truth. After I talked with her for the seventh time, she quit the CCP.

When I first did truth-clarification face-to-face, I could only talk with people individually. But now I can clarify the truth to a group of people at one time.

One day while I was at a farmer's market, I witnessed how CCP personnel from the city management department assaulted people. They fined the vendors at will, and chased them on the streets. Witnesses showed outrage toward the CCP personnel and cursed the corrupt party. When these personnel from the city management department left, I clarified the truth to twenty or so people at the scene, rationally, with wisdom and compassion. These people finally all quit the CCP.

After the earthquake struck in Sichuan Province, saving sentient beings became more urgent than ever. I went to clarify the truth to a supervisor at my workplace who had reported me to the police before. I said to her, "Now disasters are happening one after another. You know I am a Falun Gong practitioner, we have been wronged and suffered from the persecution. We are good to people, we save people before the disaster comes. If I know a disaster will come, you and I are colleagues, I don't want to see anyone in our workplace become a victim of a disaster! Don't you think I should tell you about the disaster?"

She answered, "You must tell me!" I said, "If I am selfish, I will not tell you! But if I did it in that way, I wouldn't be a practitioner either, nor a cultivator of Buddhahood. I am doing this truly for your own future and your family, so you can escape from the disaster. Lots of CCP high-ranking officials and police have already quit the CCP to seek protection, for their safety. By quitting the CCP, you won't lose anything. You are not asked to pay even a penny. You can use a nickname or alias to quit the CCP." She agreed. Now all the colleagues in my work section have quit the CCP.

Clarifying the truth face-to-face is an important part of the various methods of truth-clarification and helping people to withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. I think whether practitioners work or not, we can all find a way to clarify the truth face-to-face to people, and practice it in daily life. Gradually we will become experienced and more capable. The Minghui Experience Sharing Site on Minghui website has many good articles on how to clarify the truth face-to-face. Lots of diligent practitioners are doing well in many ways. They clarify the truth face-to-face. They can also produce good materials. We can choose different forms of clarifying the truth based on our own circumstances, and not become attached to any specific type of truth-clarification.

Let us keep Master's words in mind, truly think about the future of sentient beings, and put down all attachments and selfishness. Coordinators from different areas can cooperate, take a survey of each area's situation to see if our efforts are effective or not, and help inexperienced practitioners work together on face-to-face truth-clarification.
