(Clearwisdom.net) Today's report includes incidents of persecution that took place in 37 cities or counties in 15 provinces. In this report, 46 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 71 practitioners were illegally arrested.

Personnel from the Yongding Street Police Station arrested three practitioners including Mr. Sun Lijun in the Beijing Hangtian Kegong Group's No. 23 Division on the night of June 11, 2008. They are being held in the Qinghe Detention Center.

The home of Ms. Wang Xiuzhi from Jiyuan City was ransacked on May 30, 2008. She was forced to leave her home to avoid further persecution. Her personal phone book was confiscated. It was reported that another six practitioners were later arrested.

Police arrested a couple in the Jiangbei District of Songyuan City on June 4, 2008, because Falun Gong information was discovered on their MP4 player. Their daughter is left home alone.

Personnel from the Zijin Jinshan Police Station arrested Ms. Gao Suzhi, Ms. Zhao Shulan and Ms. Wang Jinyi and put them into the Dabailou Detention Center on June 9, 2008. Ms. Wang was later bailed out for hospitalization because of high blood pressure.

Police arrested 70-year-old Ms. Liu Qingbi on the morning of June 11, 2008. She is being held in the Chongqing No. 2 Detention Center.

Sanshui Forced Labor Camp, Guangdong Province: 86-757-87318294, 86-757-87756198

Seven officers from the Zhanlong Town Police Station in Puning City broke into Mr. Chen Hongsong's home on the afternoon of June 12, 2008. They attempted to arrest Mr. Chen and his relatives, but Mr. Chen's neighbors stopped them. The police ransacked Mr. Chen's home and confiscated two copies of the book Zhuan Falun and a music CD.

Ms. Yang Mei was arrested again in her Pan County hometown in April 2008. She is being held at the county's Hongguo Detention Center. Ms. Yang had previously been held in the Zhongba Women's Forced Labor Camp for two years.

Mr. Zhou Zhihong and Ms. Mi Shuhong from the Daqing City Electricity Supply Technology School were arrested and put into the city's detention center.

Police arrested Ms. Xu Qixiu living in Taoxi Street, the Chenghua District on the morning of June 11, 2008. Another 70-year-old lady was arrested the same day for clarifying the truth about Falun Gong in a vegetable market.

Ms. Wang Yanxiang, who was previously held at the Daqing City Detention Center, was transferred into the Heilongjiang Province Women's Prison on June 11, 2008.

Personnel from the Yanling County Police Department and from the 610 Office ransacked a 52-year-old practitioner's home in Zhangqiao Township on the morning of May 29, 2008. The police confiscated several Dafa books and some Falun Gong truth clarification materials. The practitioner had lived away from home twice and is again unable to return home.

Mr. Zhao Zhan is being held in the Zhangshi Brainwashing Center. Police beat him into bruises.

About a dozen policemen including Wang Fucai in Laishui County broke into Ms. Zhu Xiuling's home in Zhaogezhuang Village, Wangcun Township on the morning of June 6, 2008. They confiscated a satellite dish and some Falun Dafa books.

The police also ransacked the homes of Mr. Qiao Jinfu and Ms. Hu Fengxian in the village, Ms. Liu Haixia from Zhangcuitai Village and Ms. Chen Xiumei from Wangcun Village.

Mr. Zhao Lin, in his thirties, is an employee from the Fushun City No. 3 Oil Factory in the Wanghua District. Police arrested him and confiscated two satellite dishes, a computer and a printer on June 13, 2008.

Seven officers from the Xiongjia Police Station broke into Ms. Qiu Xiangzhen's home and ransacked the place at 8:00 p.m. on June 13, 2008. They confiscated some Falun Gong truth clarification materials.

Police arrested three practitioners from the Spaceflight Department's No. 2 Division on the night of June 11, 2008. Personnel from the Yongding Street Police Precinct arrested Ms. Zhao Huaichun.

Personnel from the Heping Street Police Precinct arrested 29-year-old Mr. Wang Xinzheng and his father Mr. Wang Xuwen at 10:00 a.m. on June 10, 2008. The police put them into the Heping Police Station. The father was released later, but Mr. Wang Xinzheng was put into the Handan City No. 1 Detention Center.

Personnel from the Datang Street Police Station in the Yuexiu District of Guangzhou City broke into Ms. Wei Peiling's home and arrested Ms. Aqiong on September 23, 2007. Ms. Aqiong has been on trial. The next trial will be at 9:00 a.m. on June 17, 2008.

Ms. Guan Hua was tortured in the Wanjia Forced Labor Camp in May 2007, and one of her arms was fractured due to the torture. She is being held in the Wanjia Hospital.

Police arrested Mr. Li Yewu from Shanghai on May 1, 2008, when he got married in Jinan City, Shandong Province. The police ransacked Mr. Li's home and confiscated a printer, some Dafa books and some cash in his absence.

Police arrested Mr. Li again in Jinan City on June 10, 2008 and confiscated 2,000 yuan in cash. They brought him back to Shanghai, and his current circumstances are unknown.

Police colluded with officials from the Dagang District Health Department and arrested several practitioners including Ms. Zhu Qiaoyun and Ms. Bai Shuqin on the night of June 14, 2008.

Police transferred Ms. Li Xiuhua from the Yongxing Detention Center into the Beimen Forced Labor Camp on June 13, 2008, and attempted to sentence Ms. Li.

Twenty-one-year-old Mr. Li Zhenmin is an undergraduate student in the Department of Computer Science at Xi'an Chang'an University. Police ransacked Mr. Li's home and confiscated a computer and a printer in his absence. He was arrested in June 2008 and is now being held in Dalian City.

Ms. Xu Chunmei and Mr. Liu Zhongjun, retired teachers from the Daqing City No. 49 Middle School and Mr. Ma Wanlin, an employee at the Ranghu Street Bus Station were arrested on May 24, 2008. The arrest happened when they were clarifying the truth about Falun Gong in Huoshishan Township, Anda City. Mr. Liu and Mr. Ma are being held in the city's detention center. Ms. Xu is being held in an administrative detention center.

Police officers arrested Ms. Zhang Gailing at her home at 6:20 p.m. on June 14, 2008. They put Ms. Zhang into the Fengchan Street Police Station and confiscated a computer and some Falun Gong truth clarification materials.

Ms. Pang Junyuan is still being force-fed in the Changchun City Police Hospital and will be sentenced on June 23, 2008.

Personnel from the Heishan County Police Department arrested Ms. Zhou Guifen, her husband Mr. Zhao Fenghe and their nine year-old granddaughter at 10:00 p.m. on June 12, 2008. They confiscated a TV, a computer, a VCD player and a satellite dish.

The granddaughter was released on June 13, 2008, but the couple is still being held.

Police from Wucheng County arrested Mr. and Ms. Ge on June 9, 2008. The couple is being held in the county's detention center.

Police arrested Ms. Li Xiupei from the Tiexi District on May 24, 2008. Mr. Xin Hongyuan is being held in the district's detention center.

Mr. Jiang Sihua, Ms. Du Jutao and Ms. Xiong Danyue arrested on May 19, 2008.

Personnel from the Dawan Police Station in Liupanshui City torture practitioners ruthlessly. Mr. Li Zhengkai's tailbone was fractured from a beating. Mr. Li and Mr. Yan Hua were sentenced to three years of forced labor. Police beat Mr. Xu Yinguo and fractured his right arm.

Six officers from the Dongli Police Station arrested Ms. Jin Ying at her private clinic and ransacked the place at 9:00 a.m. on June 12, 2008. Officers also ransacked her home and confiscated a laptop computer, a printer, 1,000 yuan in cash, some Dafa books and Falun Gong truth clarification materials. She is being held in the city's No. 1 Detention Center.

Five officers from the Huailai County Domestic Security Division arrested Mr. Jia Zhijiang and Ms. Li Rongmei at 11:10 a.m. on June 10, 2008. They ransacked their home and confiscated a computer, a printer, a large sum of cash and several bank deposit certificates. Mr. Jiang managed to escape that day. The police also arrested Mr. and Ms. Li in the afternoon.

After police officers in Jinzhou City arrested Falun Gong practitioners Ms. Yan Min and Ms. Min Shuang on May 25, 2008, six plainclothes police officers broke into the home of practitioner Ms. Wu Chunran's parents at 10:00 a.m. on June 5, 2008 and arrested Wu Chunran and her brother Wu Changbin. The police subsequently ransacked Wu Chunran's home and took computers and other personal belongings, and took Ms. Wu to the Gaocheng City Detention Center. Yan Min, Min Shuang and Wu Changbin's whereabouts are unknown.

Officers from Dongchan Police Department arrested Ms. Tian Xiujun from Dongchan Town, Anju District, Suining City at 10:00 a.m. on June 11, 2008, after Ms. Tian had spoken to people about Falun Gong. They took her to Suining City at 3:00 p.m. and held her at an undisclosed location.

Duolun County police arrested practitioners Mr. Zhou Ruilin, Ms. Yang Shumin, Mr. Yang Dianjun, Ms. Yang Yulian, Ms. Zhou Yanhua, Ms. Xu Xiuyun, Ms. Xiao Guanglan and Ms. Feng at home or work on the morning of June 12, 2008. They sent Zhou Yanhua, Xu Xiuyun and Xiao Guanglan to Zhenglanqi Detention Center in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and held the other practitioners at a local detention center.

The police arrested Ms. Sun on June 12, 2008 while she exposed the facts of the persecution.

Police officers from Songyuan City and Changchun City arrested a mother and daughter who were originally from Songyuan City on the morning of June 12, 2008. The arrest took place in the practitioners' rented room in Changchun City, and their current whereabouts are unknown.

Ms. Xu Qixiu is a retired worker from Chengdu No. 82 Postbox. The police arrested her on June 11, 2008 and sent her to the Taoxi Road Police Station because she exposed the Communist Party's crimes to members of the public. The police verbally and physically assaulted her when she shouted, "Falun Dafa is good! Falun Gong practitioners are good people!"

Officials arrested Mr. Zhang Mou, a middle school teacher from the Jiangcheng District, Yangjiang City after the persecution of Falun Gong began on July 20, 1999 and held him at the Jiangcheng Detention Center for nearly a month. Zhang Mou went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa in 2000 and was subsequently held at a forced labor camp for one year. Following his release, officials arrested and sent him to brainwashing centers and frequently threatened him and ransacked his home. They confiscated his Falun Gong books and a computer, among other items.

Zhang Mou's school officials tricked him into coming to the Education Bureau in 2005 by telling him false information - that there was going to be a conference - but a group of police officers, armed police and 610 Office agents were waiting for him. They took him to a Sanshui City Brainwashing Center in Guangdong Province.

Officials again arrested Zhang Mou on May 12, 2008 and sent him to the Jiangcheng Drug Rehabilitation Center. He was later illegally sentenced to two years of forced labor. He is now held at the Sanshui Forced Labor Camp in Guangdong Province.

The police arrested Ms. Sun on June 11, 2008. She a retired teacher in her seventies.

Yu Weifeng and other officials from the Guancheng District Police Department's Domestic Security Division arrested Ms. Yan Jing at 10:00 a.m. on May 26, 2008. They tortured her ruthlessly, which caused her heart disease to relapse, and her blood pressure to spike above 220. They tried seven times to send her to the Zhengzhou City Detention Center, but the detention center authorities refused to accept her due to her poor health. Her workplace superiors petitioned the police to release her on medical parole, but the police did not answer their request. They eventually sent her to the Wanqing Mountain Villa Brainwashing Center, in the West District, Zhengzhou City.

The police arrested Ms. Liu Xiaohong and took her to the Yaojia Detention Center. They transferred her eventually to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp in Shenyang City after sentencing her to one year of forced labor. She is currently held in a brainwashing center.

50. [Jinyun County, Zhejiang Province] Ms. Xu Qinglian Arrested

The police arrested Ms. Xu Qinglian on June 11, 2008. The officials had sentenced Xu Qinglian to forced labor back in 2001 and had extended her sentence after she refused to "reform" [renounce her belief] and did not release her until 2003. They later arrested her again and sent her to a brainwashing center to further persecute her.
