Party Branch Secretary Quits the Young Pioneers

In the autumn of 2007, Mr. Xie, a village party branch secretary in Sichuan province, broke his leg in a car accident. Due to a lack of money, Mr. Xie was treated in a hospital for over ten days, and then went home before the scheduled time. Once home, the injury ached intermittently, the pain made him sweat, and he could not go to sleep for several nights. His wife continuously rubbed his leg to ease the pain.

During the recovery period, villagers visited him one after another. Everyone wanted to help him, but nobody really knew how at first. One of the villagers told him about her family's experience of believing in Falun Dafa and experiencing blessings. The lady had a relative who practices Falun Dafa. That relative told her that whenever she runs into danger, to say "Falun Dafa is good", "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance is good". Mr. Xie said to her, "I believe it! I will say those words, too!"

After the villagers left, Mr. Xie began to loudly recite "Falun Dafa is good!" As he did so, the pain subsided and he went to sleep. His wife, who was up with him for several nights in a row, also slept soundly. When she woke up and found nobody else in the bed, she was surprised. She looked outside and found her husband strolling in the yard! After several days in bed, he recovered in one night. The couple was of course overjoyed.

The woman then told Mr. Xie about the CCP's impending collapse and how Heaven would eliminate it, and he immediately agreed to quit the CCP. He then suddenly said, "I have never joined the CCP, though. How could I quit it?" The woman asked him, "If you never joined the party, how can you be the party secretary?" Xie laughed and told her, "I did not want to be the party secretary, but people from the township kept coming to me, and nobody asked me if I was a party member."

As it turns out, Mr. Xie was only a member of the Young Pioneers, and his wife had joined the Youth League in high school. They both gladly withdrew from those two CCP organizations.
