New York: "The Theme of Today's Parade is Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On June 1, 2008, Puerto Rican residents of New York held a parade in Long Island. It was one of biggest of local parades, with more than 20 thousand people watching it. Falun Gong practitioners also took part in the parade as the only Asian group.

When seeing the banner which reads, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance," a local resident shouted: "This is the real theme of today's parade."

Falun Gong practitioners from Long Island and Flushing decorated a beautiful float and performed Chinese dances and on waist drums in the parade. The spectators warmly welcomed them, while some people greeted them in Chinese.

The parade went on for two miles. Practitioners were glad to bring the beauty of Falun Dafa to the local residents.
