The Main Persecutors in Qitaihe City, Heilongjiang Province React After Being Exposed

(Clearwisdom.net) In March 2008, Sun Tangbin, director of the Economic Security Division at the Taoshan Police Branch in Qitaihe City, Heilongjiang Province, was publicly exposed as being a major person responsible for the persecution and illegal arrest of many Falun Dafa practitioners.

Dafa practitioners in China and overseas began to clarify the truth to the persecutors and their family members by phone, mail, and flyers. NTDTV reported the situation, and the exposure to the public frightened the evil. This has resulted in a significant reduction in the local persecution. Many policemen who learned the truth have opposed the persecution or stayed neutral.

After the NTDTV report, practitioners being detained heard the policemen and guards talking about the TV program, and said that the TV station had made phone calls asking for interviews.

In the middle of March, even while they were still arresting Dafa disciples, some policemen refused to persecute them. Some said that they admired the practitioners and were just going through the motions for their superiors, while some officers were sympathetic but could not do anything to help the practitioners. However, other policemen continued brutally persecuting practitioners for personal gain.

When he was releasing some practitioners, Director Sun Tangbin asked guiltily, "I did not beat you, right? Do not expose me."

Director of the 610 Office Bi Shuqing threatened, "Do not expose me once I have released you, or I will arrest you again!" One practitioner was threatened as follows, "If your child exposes me, I will arrest you again!" The child had called Bi Shuqing because his mother was illegally arrested, and said that if Bi did not release her, he would expose Bi's crimes on the Internet. Bi threatened the child, saying, "Don't you believe that I can't arrest you too!" He searched for the child everywhere.

We sincerely advise Sun Tangbin and Bi Shuqing to correct their mistakes. Do not take your job as an excuse to persecute good people. Nobody escapes the judgment of Heaven. Good is rewarded with good, and evil meets with retribution. Be kind to Dafa practitioners and remedy your mistakes. This is the only way to secure a future for yourselves.
