Understanding and Reflecting Upon the CCP Interference with NTDTV Broadcasts into China

(Clearwisdom.net) Recently the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) blocked the broadcast of New Tang Dynasty Television (NTDTV) into China, causing all programs to be suspended. Many viewers in China have become very anxious about this interference, and it directly interferes with the saving of sentient beings. The Fa is here, however, so all bad things can be transformed into good things, but it is crucial that we Dafa practitioners quickly improve in regards to the Fa. I would like to describe my personal understanding of the possible shortcomings that we, as one body, may have.

1. During the broadcasting suspension, many practitioners who had helped with the installation work became very worried. They continually sent forth righteous thoughts, on the hour, every day to eliminate this interference. However, practitioners who did not directly work with NTDTV broadcasts did not seem to attach much importance to this incident, which shows that we didn't pay enough attention to this project. Personally, I think if we all understand the importance of NTDTV's role in clarifying the truth, and contribute more effort to this project as one body, then the suspension will not last long. Practitioners should cultivate greater awareness and attach importance to this one-body project.

2. Throughout the period of NTDTV's suspended broadcasting, did all Dafa practitioners participating in this project have truly strong righteous thoughts and believe firmly that it was another CCP attempt that would result in scandal and ultimate failure? Teacher said,

"The Eutelsat incident has been over for such a long time, so I won't talk about it. One thing is for sure when it comes to the wicked CCP: no matter what the wicked CCP does in persecuting Falun Gong, as soon as it does something, that thing will turn into a scandal and a failure. This has been set in stone by gods. (Applause) That's because history does not unfold for its sake, the old forces let it play a role only to test students, and today's history was specifically created for Fa-rectification and is unfolding for the sake of Dafa disciples." ("Teaching the Fa in San Francisco, 2005")

Recently, Teacher said,

"As I have mentioned before, the evil CCP could save itself some trouble by not doing anything; whenever it does something bad, and particularly to Dafa disciples, it results in a scandal and fiasco for it, and ends up helping Dafa disciples with what they are doing." ("Fa Teaching at the 2008 New York Conference")

If practitioners remain in a state of waiting, looking on and being frustrated, that would suggest there is not a firm belief in Dafa!

3. I have been assisting with installing satellite dishes for NTDTV, and so have reflected upon my actions in relation to this incident. I noticed that I developed an attachment of dependence on NTDTV programs. There is nothing wrong with the thought of helping people learn the truth through the installation of more satellite dishes, but an excessive attachment would turn it into a state of focusing too much attention on the quantity of installations achieved, while neglecting other aspects of NTDTV broadcasts and taking them lightly. Actually what matters most is the divine thoughts of all practitioners as one body, and not how many things we did or how many satellite dishes were installed.

This incident creates another chance for Dafa practitioners all over the world to form one body. Let's eliminate the evil together so that sentient beings can see the truth and be saved.
