By a practitioner from Saipan

(Clearwisdom.net) On July 4, Falun Gong practitioners, along with another 24 groups, participated in the Independence Day Parade in Saipan. The Divine Land Marching Band, consisting of practitioners from Japan and Taiwan, performed in the parade.

The parade started at 2:00 p.m. The Divine Land Marching Band performed "Falun Dafa Is Good," "America the Beautiful" and other songs. The local citizens warmly welcomed and highly praised the performances by the band.

Young practitioners from the Japanese Minghui School danced during the parade. People appeared to be intrigued by their dances and took photos with them. Practitioners' float, flag team and celestial maiden dance team were also welcomed by the spectators.

Due to the slanderous propaganda by a local CCP-controlled Chinese newspaper, some local Chinese people had misunderstandings about Falun Gong. In this parade, many Chinese saw the beauty of Falun Gong, and changed their attitude. Some of them said to practitioners that their entry was the best in the parade.

After the parade, practitioners set up a display and passed out a lot of materials to the local Chinese.

Before the Independence Day celebration, the Divine Land Marching Band had performed at a local festival. A lot of Chinese people expressed that their performances were the best, and they expected to see practitioners at these events every year.
