(Clearwisdom.net) In the evening on July 4, a large annual celebration was held in Annapolis, the capital city of Maryland. The celebration activities included a float parade, a concert at the Naval Academy and a fireworks display. As the only Chinese group, Falun Gong practitioners from the Greater Washington DC area participated in the parade, bringing a pleasant surprise to local residents.

The practitioners presented a beautiful float on which they demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises, a waist drum performance, and dragon dance. Many spectators were enthralled upon seeing the procession and asked for Falun Gong fliers.

Among the spectators, there were also many Chinese immigrants. Upon seeing the Falun Gong procession, some appeared to be surprised, while others were obviously delighted and very proud.
