Personnel from the Hailin City Police Department arrested Mr. Li Shougang from Shuangfeng Village and Mr. Han Rongqing from Yanglin Village in Hailin City on June 30, 2008.

Police arrested Ms. Lu Shanshan from her home in Hefei City and ransacked the place on the night of June 21, 2008. They broke into Ms. Lu's computer store and confiscated a laptop computer and some other items in the absence of Ms. Lu's family members.

Police arrested Mr. Jiao Fujun from Anmin Village, Hualin Town, and a practitioner surnamed You at 1:00 p.m. on June 30, 2008.

Ms. Li Huaxiu, in her 70s, is from Lantian Town, the Jiangyang District, Luzhou City. She and five other practitioners hung Falun Gong truth-clarifying banners in Kuangchang Town on April 2, 2006. The police arrested the five others, but she escaped and has lived away from home since then.

Personnel from the Runan County Domestic Security Division and from the 610 Office arrested 28-year-old Ms. Bai Hui from the county on May 15, 2008. Thirty-five-year-old Mr. Hongwei is also being persecuted.

Personnel from the Luoding City 610 Office arrested Mr. Shen Mingjun and took him to Sanshui Brainwashing Center in June 2008.

Ms. Wang Sulan is a physician in the Tangyin County Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital. She lost her job because of her Falun Gong practice. Personnel from the county's domestic security division arrested Ms. Wang from her home at 5:00 a.m. on June 26, 2008, as she slept. They also arrest another practitioner and put him/her into the county detention center. Mr. Wen Liangqi, who is being held at the detention center, was arrested on April 3, 2008.

Ms. Zhao Min is a teacher from the Anqing County No. 2 Middle School. Personnel from the Qing'an County Police Department arrested Ms. Zhao and confiscated her computer and a cell phone at 8:00 p.m. on June 30, 2008.

Police then attempted to arrest Mr. Zeng, who was not at home, so they ransacked the place and confiscated many items.

A 50-year-old woman practitioner from another province explained the facts about Falun Gong to a student in the Tianhe District, Guangzhou City, on June 23, 2008. The student's parents learned of it and reported her to the Xinghua Police Station. Personnel from the police station then arrested her and took her to the district detention center. The practitioner has been sentenced to one year of forced labor.

Yinfeng Town Police Station chief Bai and other officers broke into Ms. Xu Yuanzhen's home in Qingyun Village, Yinfeng Town, ransacked the place, and confiscated some Dafa books, tapes, and CDs on April 22, 2008.

Personnel from the Anci District Police Department in Langfang City arrested Mr. Wu Tingwen and Mr. Xing Bofeng, who visited Mr. Wu on June 27, 2008. Police confiscated Mr. Xing Bofeng's minivan. They also went to Mr. Xing's home and arrested his wife and son, Mr. Xing Yunsheng. The police ransacked Mr. Xing's home and confiscated a computer, a printer, and 10,000 yuan. Mr. Xing is presently being held in the county's detention center; his wife has been released.

Zhongpu Police Station chief Wang Yonggang arrested Mr. Li Jinku from his home in Gaozhuangke Village at 1:00 p. on June 26, 2008. Mr. Li is being held in the Leting County Detention Center.

Linghe District Court agents in Jinzhou City held a trial for six practitioners in June 2008. They planned to hold another hearing between June 29, 2008, and July 4, 2008, to discuss about the verdicts.

Personnel from the Huayuan Street Police Station in Beijing ransacked Mr. Zeng Jilu's house and harassed his 70-year-old mother on June 24, 2008. They also arrested 30-year-old Ms. Zhang Lei and took her to the police station. Ms. Zhang is a teacher from the Foreign Language Department at Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics.

Several practitioners were arrested on May 12, 2008. Ms. Zhan Guiying had 56,000 yuan extorted from her. Ms. Zeng Sifeng and her husband had 20,000 yuan extorted from them and they were then released. Mr. Liao Zhijun's wife, Ms. Zhang Yan, has been released. Mr. Liao Songling, Mr. Liao Zhijun, Ms. Jiang Xilian, and Mr. Lei Anxiang are still being held in the Chenzhou City Detention Center. It is heard that the four practitioners are facing trial.

Officer Zhang Bentao from the Ziyou Avenue Police Station in Changchun City harassed Mr. Li Wei and his wife on June 30, 2008.

Personnel from the Tongliao City Police Department arrested five practitioners including Mr. Xie Hongtu on May 15, 2008. They even arrested a practitioner's 10-year-old child.

Wu Tianliang ordered someone to monitor and follow Ms. Zhang Wenjuan in the Spring of 2005. Police then arrested Ms. Zhang and her husband, Mr. Xu Jinhu, in March 2005. Ms. Zhang was eventually sentenced to six years in prison and is still being held in the Gansu Province Women's Prison. Wu Tianliang went to Ms. Zhang's home, interrogated her husband, and then coerced him to sign the interrogation documents on June 13, 2008.

Mr. Du Xiangang and Mr. Yan Li from Wandianzi Village, Qingyuan County, Fushun City, were arrested on the morning of June 29, 2008. They also arrested the following practitioners: Ms. Liu Yanqin, Mr. Zhao Liankai, Mr. Li Zhenlin, Mr. Du Xiangang, Mr. Yan Li, Mr. Wang Nanfang and his son, Ms. Zhan Yulan, and Mr. Liu.

Personnel from the Mudanjiang City Police Department and from the 610 Office arrested several practitioners at 3:00 p.m. on the afternoon of June 30, 2008. Mr. Li Haifeng and Mr. Dabin were arrested in the Longmen Market. Police confiscated a computer and a printer from Mr. Dabin's home. They also arrested Mr. Bailiang.

Police arrested Mr. Wang Huabing and Ms. Xia Zhengyan from Lianyungang City and ransacked their homes at 10:00 a.m. on June 30, 2008.

Police followed and then arrested Ms. Yu Guixiang at a market in Daxindian Town, Penglai City. They held her in the city's detention center for two months and then sentenced her to one and a half years of forced labor. Ms. Yu is being held in the Jinan City Forced Labor Camp.

Personnel from the Songlindian Town Police Station harassed practitioners in Huangjiatun Village, Beizi Village, and Yulin Village on June 26, 2008. They ransacked some practitioners' homes.

Three practitioners went to the Qian'an City Police Department to request the release of a practitioner on June 30, 2008. Two of them were pushed out, but the other practitioner from out of town was arrested and placed in a brainwashing center.

Guards tortured Mr. Shao Chengluo from Chengyang City in the Shandong Province Prison. They deprived him of sleep for nearly a week. They also tortured Mr. Yi Xiangyang from Zhaoyuan City.

Two policemen from the Zhaoyuan City 610 Office broke into Ms. Pan Xinmei's home and arrested her at 4:30 p.m. on June 29, 2008. They ransacked her home and then took her to the city's Lingnan Brainwashing Center.

Personnel from the Hanzhong City 610 Office and from the city's Domestic Security Division broke Ms. Guo Jianzhen's home and ransacked the place in her absence at 3:00 p.m. on June 11, 2008. The police confiscated a picture of Master and a few Dafa books.

Personnel from the Lingshan County Police Department arrested Mr. Yang Wu on the morning of June 30, 2008.

Mr. Yang was arrested in early June 2008 as he listened the song "Falun Dafa Is Good" in public. He was released the same afternoon.

Police from Da'an County arrested Mr. Jia Jianfeng from Jilin City at the end of May 2008 while he visiting his father in his hometown. The police took him to the Changchun City Detention Center and then sentenced him to two years of forced labor.

Two policemen arrested Mr. Zhang Lan from his home in Zhongguan Village, the Haidian District, Beijing, on June 18, 2008. They ransacked the place and confiscated a computer, a printer, and some Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials. Mr. Zhang was put in the Qinghe Detention Center on the morning of June 19, 2008.

Personnel from the Jilin Street Police Station in Changchun City arrested Ms. Li Hongyan from the Erdao District on June 30, 2008. She is being held in the Weizigou Detention Center.

Personnel from the Changqiao Police Station arrested Ms. Du Shuqing, who lives on Liuhaihutong Lane, the Xicheng District, Beijing, on the morning of June 12, 2008. They took hernto a brainwashing center. Her husband requested her release, but the police told him that she would only be released after the Olympic Games. Ms. Du has been arrested many times.
