On the Importance of Sending Forth Righteous Thoughts

(Clearwisdom.net) Dozens of local practitioners were recently arrested. I would like to ask my fellow practitioners to calm down and study Teacher's "Fa-Lecture at the Conference in Florida, U.S.A." from December 29, 2001,

"Let me tell you, all those who remain and that can persecute Dafa and Dafa disciples are due to our students themselves. Students who haven't taken sending forth righteous thoughts seriously: the evil in the dimensions that you are supposed to shoulder and be responsible for has not been eliminated. That's the cause. So you must take sending forth righteous thoughts seriously. No matter whether you think you have the ability or not, you should do it. What you eliminate from your own mind are ones which have an effect within the expanse of your own body; at the same time, you need to eliminate the external ones, which are directly related to the dimensions you're in. If you don't eliminate them, then they not only persecute you and restrain you, but also persecute other students, other Dafa disciples. As you know, the persecution that Dafa disciples in Mainland China suffer is quite severe, so each student has to truly, clearly realize what his responsibility is, and when he sends forth righteous thoughts he has to be able to truly calm his mind and truly produce the effect of righteous thoughts. So this is something extremely critical, extremely important."

I have had many experiences sending forth righteous thoughts, some of which I would like to share here, in hopes that they may help fellow practitioners.

During September 2005, I was extremely afraid, and my heart was pounding fiercely, when I was at a truth clarification materials production site. I constantly thought that the authorities would arrest me at any moment. Other practitioners suggested that I send forth righteous thoughts every hour. Initially, my legs felt intense pain while doing this for 15 minutes, but I soon felt better, and a month later my legs stopped hurting when I sent forth righteous thoughts.

On October 1, I sent righteous thoughts at 6:00 a.m. and I felt full of energy and light. I couldn't move or feel any weight, and I had only a single thought while focusing on sending forth righteous thoughts. The feeling was very comforting. When I sent righteous thoughts at 6:00 p.m., I saw an evil looking dragon with a thin neck, red skin and white pustules. When I thought "eliminate," the dragon didn't disappear like other small beings I had previously dealt with. I then thought of putting the dragon in my hand and use my supernormal abilities to transform it into water. Immediately after this thought emerged, my hand was on its neck, but I wasn't careful enough and it bit my arm. I quickly thought of Teacher and asked for Teacher's support. Once this thought emerged, many guardians came with Fa weapons and a little angel with wings on its back joined us. I then suddenly found a sword in my hand. I rushed toward the dragon with the sword and with the help of the guardians, we eliminated the dragon in no time.

After the guardians left, I realized that the arm that was bitten by the dragon was festering. Before I could think of anything, Teacher's energy came from my back towards my arm, and my arm became transparent and bright like white jade. The wound was gone. I came out of meditation after thirty minutes, and at that moment, the extreme fear that I had was gone. I felt relaxed and joyful and was more efficient in everything I did. I understood that the pressure and fear I experienced came from that evil dragon, and only by sending forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the dragon could this problem be solved.

I suggest to all practitioners that no matter how busy you are, or how inconvenient it is for you to send forth righteous thoughts, please take it seriously. Also, ask fellow practitioners whether they have been taking sending righteous thoughts seriously. Let's work together to prevent losses during Fa rectification.

All practitioners should start with themselves and be responsible to the Fa and their sentient beings. We need to do the three things well and better accomplish our missions. How well have we done sending forth righteous thoughts? Have we done what Teacher asked us to?
