(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 27 cities or counties in 15 provinces. In this report, 11 practitioners were subjected to brutal mistreatment during their detention and at least 81 practitioners were illegally arrested.

Ms. Tang Guixiang, from Niu Zhuang, Haicheng City, was arrested by police from the Niuzhuang Police Station on June 16, 2008. She was reported to police when she was clarifying the truth. They ransacked her home. Ms. Tang is currently in Haicheng Detention Center.

Around 9 a.m. on June 17, 2008, Mr. Li Baosheng from Lianshanguan, Benxi County, was illegally arrested from his home. Police also took some Dafa books and materials.

Mr. Li Xiande, about 40, is from Qianwafang Village, Qianguo County, Songyuan City. Mr. Li was arrested by police from Songyuan City. His mother, wife and sister were also arrested at the same time. A computer was taken from their home.

Mr. Leng Zhihui, about 30, is from Taohaotai Town, Qianguo County, Songyuan City. Mr. Leng was arrested by local police on the evening of March 3, 2008. Dafa books were taken, too.

Ms. Ju Guilan, about 40, is from Jianbala Village, Taohaotai Town, Qianguo County, Songyuan City. On the evening of April 23, 2008, Ms. Ju was arrested by police from Taohaotai Police Station. Police ransacked her home and took a computer, an MP4 player, and Dafa books. She was sentenced for one year of forced labor and is now in Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp in Changchun.

Ms. Huang Yajun, from Taohaotai Town, Qianguo County, was arrested by police on April 23.

Ms. Cai Suqin from Dawa County was arrested when she was distributing truth clarification materials. She is in Dawa Detention Center.

In the afternoon of June 17, 2008, the village head of the Xingmin Village of Jinzhou District and officers from Longwangmiao Police Station arrested Ms. Yuan Zhihui at the Futai Plastic Tableware Factory. She was taken to Fushun Brainwashing Center.

On June 12, 2008, Ms. Wang Baozhen was arrested again by police from Sanbao Police Station. At the end of 2007, Ms. Wang was arrested for distributing truth clarification materials. The first time around, she was illegally detained for one month and was released after paying more than 10,000 yuan in fines.

At noon on June 17, 2008, police from Shangdianxiang Police Station of Linqing City broke into the homes of Mr. Wang Yanchang, Mr. Wang Yanjun, and Mr. Zhang Qinglu, all Falun Dafa practitioners. Their homes were ransacked. Dafa books and materials were taken. Mr. Zhang Qinglu was arrested and is currently detained at Shangdian Police Station. Mr. Wang Yanchang and Mr. Wang Yanjun were forced to become destitute and homeless again in order to avoid being arrested.

On the afternoon of June 18, 2008, Ms. Xie Yuanju, a practitioner from Mengyin County, was arrested by local 610 Office personnel and police when she was clarifying the truth at Wenxi Park, Mengyin County. She was reported to police by an anonymous person.

Ms. Wang Xiuhua, 70, is a practitioner in Wohu Village, Qinjia Township, Zhaoyuan City. She was arrested by 610 Office personnel multiple times and taken to a brainwashing center in the Lingnan Gold Mine. In order to try to force her to give up her belief, they tortured her using methods such as hanging, locking her up, and beating her. On April 16, 2008, Ms. Wang was arrested again and has been detained in the brainwashing center since then.

On January 4, 2008, police ransacked the home of Ms. Hao Cuilan, a practitioner in Daqinjia Town. Dafa books, a picture of Teacher, and 2000 yuan in cash were taken.

On January 5, 2008, police from Daqinjia Village ransacked the home of Ms. Yu Rongmei and took a recorder, a printer, Dafa books, and truth clarification materials.

On December 11, 2007, police arrested Ms. Bu Guizhen, ransacked her home, and took Dafa books, materials, a radio, and a satellite dish. Ms. Bu is detained in Zhaoyuan City Police Station.

Mr. Liu Jiangsheng, 43, is from Canzhuang Vilage, Canzhuang Town, Zhaoyuan City. Around 9 p.m. on the evening of August 19, 2005, when he was leaving his job at Jiaojia Gold Mine in Laizhou City, the security guard searched him and found some truth clarifying materials. He was arrested and put in a forced labor camp for three years. In May 2008, 610 Office peronnel in Zhaoyuan City took him by force to Lingnan Gold Mine Brainwashing Center and he has been detained there ever since.

Ms. Yan Xiaosan was reported when she was clarifying the truth. Around 8 a.m. on June 19, 2008, she was arrested at home by officers from Yonghongqiao Police Station, Tangshanlu South District.

Ms. Wang Junling, a practitioner from Qianpu Village, Sunzhuang Town, Zhuozhou City, was arrested by the police from Sunzhuang Town Police Station on June 16. Her home was ransacked and Dafa books were taken. Ms. Wang is currently in Zhuozhou City Detention Center.

Ms. Peng Gaidi, a practitioner from Futouzhuang Village, Zhoucun Town, Dingzhou City, was arrested by the police from Dingzhou Public Security on the morning of June 16. Her home was ransacked and some items including Dafa books were taken.

On June 17, 2008, police from Baoding City Public Security, Gaobeidian Public Security, and the 610 Office arrested Ms. Xiao Xiuying, Ms. Li Conglan, Ms. Liu Binglan, Ms. Du Jifen, and Ms. Liu Fengyun, all practitioners from Yanjiawu Village, Gaobeidian City. They were taken to Gaobeidian Police Station and their homes were ransacked.

On May 24, Ms. Wang Huanling, a practitioner from Gaobeidian, was arrested and taken to Hebei Province Shijiazhuang Women's Forced Labor Camp to serve a one-year sentence.

In the afternoon on May 23, Ms. Wu Yajun, Ms. Wu Ruihuan, and Ms. Wei Hui, the practitioners who were arrested earlier, were taken to Shijiazhuang Forced Labor Camp.

In the afternoon on June 19, Ms. Dou Suqin, Ms. Liu Yuejuan, and Mr. Zhang Shuwen, all from Baigongtun Town, Fengrun District, Tangshan City, were reported when they were clarifying the truth. Around 7 p.m. on the same day, they were arrested in Xiaodingfuzhuang Village by police from Yangjiatao Town Police Station. They were taken to the Yutian County Matoushan Detention Center.

Ms. Meng Junfang and Ms. Nan Binyu were illegally arrested.

On the evening of June 18, 2008, Mr. Huang Baochang, a practitioner from Humu Town, Xushui County, Baoding City, was arrested at his home.

In the afternoon on June 17, many practitioners in Xingtai were arrested by Qiaoxi District 610 Office police when they were studying the Fa at the home of Mr. Feng Chao. Thirteen arrests have been confirmed, including Mr. Hao Bushen, Ms. Wang Xiaofen, and Ms. Yin.

On June 14, 2008, 16 practitioners including Ms. Wang Guiying were arrested by police from Dongfenglu Police Station.

Ms. Wang Xin has been arrested.

On June 15, 2008, Ms. Dai Cuiying was arrested in Hangzhou. She is being held in Ningbo Detention Center.

In January 2000, Ms. Dai was "illegally detained" for a month. In July 2001 she was sentenced for one year in a forced labor camp. Since 2004 she was forced to become destitute and homeless for two years. In 2007 she was forced to be homeless again.

In the early morning of June 20, Ms. Dong Chusheng, an elderly practitioner from Xiangshan, Ningbo, was arrested by the local guard when she was distributing truth clarification materials. She was taken to Xizhou Police Station.

On June 19, 2008, four practitioners including Mr. Wang Xingguo, Mr. Li and Mr. Ye, all from Songfu Town, Macheng City, were arrested. Their homes were ransacked, and computers and printers were taken. They are currently detained at Macheng No. 2 Detention Center.

On May 12, 2008, the Olympic Torch was passed in Fujian Province. Police from Putian City arrested practitioners including Ms. Zhu Ruirong, Ms. Huang Xinxian, Ms. Han Xiong, and Ms. Zhang Fengyu.

In the early morning of May 28, 2008, Wuhan police broke into the home of Ms. Lin Dianxiu and arrested her and her husband, Mr. Zhu Bangfu. Mr. Zhu was released later. Ms. Lin was taken to Wuhan City Qichu No. 1 Center and has been detained since.

Ms. Xiong Yulan, from Baoan District, Shenzhen, was arrested on June 17 when she was clarifying the truth. She is now in Xixiang Jiuwei Baoan District Detention Center.

Ms. Li Zhongqin, a practitioner from Simeng Town, Meishan, Sichuan who had been moving from place to place to avoid the persecution, was arrested in the beginning of June 2008. Her home was ransacked. A computer and a printer were taken.

At 9:30 a.m. on June 16, Ms. Xiao Congai, a practitioner from Wuhan, was taken from her place of work to Yijiadun Police Station. She is now in the No.1 Detention Center.

Mr. Zhang Xiansheng and his wife, Ms. Chen Shuyue, both practitioners, were arrested at their home on May 6, 2008.

Mr. Xie Changchun and Ms. Huang Shiqiong, practitioners from Guangxing, were arrested by three plainclothes police around 10:30 a.m. on June 19 when they were clarifying the truth in public.

On June 20, 2008, Mr. Song Shuzhan and his wife were arrested at home by police from Dongdadao Police Station and local officials. They are currently detained at the county detention center.

Ms. Zhu Guoying, a practitioner from Hongxinglong, was detained and tortured at Jiamusi Forced Labor Camp. Her current whereabouts is unknown.

On the evening of June 19, police arrested Ms. Zhang Xinglan, an employee at Yunnan Xunwei Nitrogenous Fertilizer Factory, and ransacked her home.

Mr. Hong Liu, practitioner from Mingyuetuo, Banan District, was arrested at work on June 3rd. His home was ransacked.

Mr. Fan Qinghui, a practitioner from Shijiazhuang City, was arrested by police from Jinma Small District Police Station. He is currently in Shijiazhuang No.1 Detention Center.
