Some Thoughts After Reading "Urgent Notice" on the Clearwisdom Website

(Clearwisdom.net) On May 24, 2008, Teacher attended the New York Conference and taught the Fa. After we heard this news, we were very happy and anxiously looked forward to reading Teacher's new article. Fellow practitioners here in my area were all very anxious to see the new article. They often asked if the new article was published yet. I myself also logged onto the Minghui/Clearwisdom website every day to see if the new article was published. Finally on June 18, I accessed the Minghui website and read "Fa Teaching at the 2008 New York Conference," which I had been looking forward to reading for a long time.

On June 28, however, I came across an "Urgent Notice" published on the Minghui website, which pertained to some people spreading fake articles and videos. I thought, "Why are there still people spreading fake articles at this time? Why do they spread things that were not published on the Minghui website? Isn't the Minghui website the place we should refer to for important news and notices? Why are some practitioners still logging onto those fake websites?"

Recalling my first thought about this issue, I enlightened to the point that fake articles and videos could be spread mostly because of our attachments. After Teacher attends a Fa conference and teaches the Fa each time, practitioners very anxiously look forward to the articles being published. We urgently wanted to read the new Fa that Teacher had taught us. If the whole body had such unconscious attachments of anxiety and curiosity, then the evil could take advantage of this to create fake articles, thereby confusing practitioners, undermining the Fa and misleading the public. Actually I enlightened to the fact that the time of the publication of Teacher's Fa was previously arranged.

I think some practitioners should study the Fa more seriously. Teacher once said, "Nobody can make his own recording at will, much less distribute it." (from "Teaching the Fa in San Francisco, 2005"). Why are some practitioners still doing this? We should all search for the attachments we still have not let go. Meanwhile, practitioners who find anyone making the recording should stop them. This is also an act of protecting the Fa and being responsible to Dafa!

Teacher said,

"Only talks that have been officially published on the Clearwisdom website or formally printed as books can be verified; nobody can undermine those." (from "Teaching the Fa in San Francisco, 2005")

Then why didn't we take the Minghui/Clearwisdom website as the only reference, instead of distributing and reading materials that were published elsewhere? From now on we should pay attention to this point and regard the Fa as our Teacher! Let's stop providing any loopholes for the evil to take advantage of. From now on we should take the Minghui/Clearwisdom website as the only reference for any important notices. This way no one can undermine Dafa.
