Mr. Li Cheng Arrested in Hua'nan County, Heilongjiang Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Before he started practicing Falun Dafa, Mr. Li Cheng, who is in his thirties, was suffering from brain tumors and a thalamic hemorrhage. He was so severely ill that he could not take care of himself. At times, he even lost consciousness without warning. A CT scan taken at the Jiamusi City Hospital showed six different brain tumors. Twelve years ago, his doctor gave him no longer than eighteen months to live.

Mr. Li's fortunes turned when he started practicing Falun Dafa in 1996. He started to conduct his life according to the principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance." He was determined to be a good person, and his health greatly improved. Eventually, he was able to take care of himself and even started to work.

However, agents of the CCP went after him because of his faith in Falun Dafa. In June 2005, Mr. Li was arrested by agents from the Hua'nan County National Security Division. He was held for three months, and then they tried to transfer him to a labor camp in Jiamusi City, where he was rejected because of his previous health problems.

On the morning of June 15, 2006, when Mr. Li was doing business at the Xinhua Market, three police officers arrested him and took him to the National Security Division. From there, they took him to a labor camp in Jiamusi City. However, he was not accepted because of health concerns. Government officials tried to extort money from him by holding him for a few days, and upon finding out that there was no money to be gotten, they sentenced Mr. Li to three years of forced labor on July 5, 2006. Mr. Li was released some time later because of his condition.

On June 27, 2008, at approximately 3:00 p.m., Mr. Li was reported to the authorities while clarifying the truth at Laojieji Village in Yanjia Town. He was arrested by officers from the Yanjia police station. He was taken to the National Security Division of the Hua'nan County Police Department, and he is being detained at the Hua'nan County Detention Center.
