Man Brings Iced Tea to Practitioners to Show His Support (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) In New York City this June, the temperatures were at a record-breaking high. Nonetheless, even as Chinese Communist Party agents incited hatred and planned attacks against them, Falun Gong practitioners continued their truth-clarification and quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) service center activities.

Near the end of June, an older man came to the "Quitting the CCP Service Center" on Main Street while the accomplices hired by CCP were still trying to create disturbances ten feet away. With one hand holding his crutch, he used the other hand to take out a can of iced tea and gave it to a Falun Gong practitioner. He said, "It's so hot. This is really good tea. This is for you. Please take it. I wish you good luck! I support Falun Gong!"

The man went over to another Falun Gong practitioner, shifted his weight to the other crutch under his arm, and with the other hand took out another can of iced tea from his shopping bag. "This one is for you. It's too hot outside. Please drink some tea." He said.

The man was Alexander from Latvia, who lived under Communist Party rule for 15 years.

Ms. Peng was distributing newspapers nearby, and she came up to talk to him.

Alexander said, "The Communist Party is bad. I have had my own experiences. I know Falun Gong is helping people quit the Communist Party, so I came here to support you."

The man's leg was injured during war, and he lives a difficult life. "A lot of people are rich and don't have a leg blown off, but I am not envious of them. Actually many of them have a very silly understanding of the communist party." He said, "I am alone all my life and have only one leg but I understand that the Communist Party is persecuting good people. I am happy that my mind is still clear."

He told Ms. Peng, "I understand the Communist Party's ways. I know it is very important for you to help people to quit the communist party. So I wanted to bring you some tea."

He continued, "I like Chinese people, and Chinese culture is beautiful. I love to watch Chinese performances... The Communist Party can't represent China. But many people don't understand this. The Communist Party can't represent such good people and such a great country."

Alexander has lived in 25 countries and met many Chinese people. "They are all hard working. They work very hard. But because of the Communist Party, many diligent Chinese people can only make a few bucks a day. But the high ranking Communist officials live a luxurious life." He said.

He said he knew that Falun Gong practitioners do not oppose China. They are exposing the Communist Party. "The hardworking Chinese people have the right to live a free, democratic and rich life. I support Falun Gong." He said.
