Chaoyang County Police Department in Liaoning Province Ganged Up with Liucheng Police Station to Terrorize Practitioners

(Clearwisdom.net) Recently, police from the Chaoyang County Police Department and Liucheng Police Station teamed up to arrest Falun Gong practitioners. They went to a number of households to harass the practitioners and ransack their homes.

On June 13, 2008, Pan Shi, Liucheng Police Station chief, and a group of officers went along Zhibaoyin Road in Yaoeryingzi Village. When they arrived at the village they went to practitioners' households to harass them and ransack their houses. The personal property of practitioner Zhao Shujun was stolen. In order to avoid further persecution of themselves and their family members, some of the practitioners from Yaoeryingzi Village were forced to leave their homes.

On June 18, 2008, Pan Shi once again went with a handful of policemen, this time to Nandayingzi Village in Shiertai Township, Chaoyang County. Village security head Zhao Chengzhi led them to numerous households of practitioners in order to harass them. Mr. Li Lin was illegally arrested and taken to Liucheng Police Station, where they extorted 1,000 yuan from him before he was released.

On June 20, Gai Changzheng, head of Dongdadao Police Station, teamed up with Chen Yunzhang, head of the Dongdadao Comprehensive Management Office, along with Wang Hai, assistant from the Justice Office and policeman Wang Bing. They barged into the residences of the local practitioners to terrorize them and ransack their homes. Around 10:00 a.m., they barged into the home of Song Shuzhan and confiscated a desktop computer, a copier, and paper. They also took away Song Shuzhan, who is now illegally incarcerated in the Zhaoyang County Detention Center.
