CCP Uses Large Amount of Money on Brainwashing Session in Lanxi City, Zhejiang Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Using the excuse of preparing for the Olympics, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Committee in Lanxi City, Zhejiang Province used a large amount of money to hold a brainwashing session in Shiliping Farm, Jinhua City during June. Police officers arrested seven Falun Dafa practitioners from Lanxi City and sent them to this session. The Lanxi City CCP Deputy Secretary, Chen Yuliang (male), together with the city's 610 Office and police force, extorted 210,000 yuan to hold this brainwashing session. Each practitioner's employer had to pay 5,000 yuan, plus assign two employees to closely monitor the practitioner.

At the beginning of July 2008, several practitioners were taken to a forced labor camp directly from the brainwashing session. Their accompanying employees were returned home.

Ms. Zhao Shuying and Her Husband Arrested

Ms. Zhao Shuying is a Falun Dafa practitioner who lives in Lanxi City. She was illegally arrested in January 2007 while passing out truth-clarifying materials in a shopping mall. She was released on parole in February 2007. In October 2007, she had to leave home to avoid being arrested when she heard that the brainwashing session was to be held soon. Her husband works in Hangzhou City, and their daughter is only nine years old.

Police arrested Ms. Zhao in Hangzhou City in May 2008, along with her husband, who is not a practitioner. Their young daughter lost the care of both of her parents as a result of the "Social Harmony Olympics" that the CCP is trying to build.
