Taiwan: The Divine Land Marching Band Performs in Kaohsiung (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) The World Games will be held in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, in 2009. On July 13, the city government of Kaohsiung put on a parade titled "One Year before the World Games." Ma Ying-jeou, the president of Taiwan; the mayor of Kaohsiung; and the president of the International World Games Association (IWGA) attended the celebration. More than 60 groups and five thousand people performed during the parade. The Divine Land Marching Band, consisting of 200 Falun Gong practitioners, was the biggest group in the parade.

The Divine Land Marching Band performed "Falun Dafa Is Good," "Fa Rectifies the Universe," and several other pieces. The spectators warmly welcomed them, and many took photos of the band. The organizers of the parade had high praise for the band's excellent performance.
