CCP Authorities Harass and Arrest Large Numbers of Practitioners in Hebei Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Since May 2008, many Dafa practitioners in Chicheng County, Hebei Province have been illegally arrested by the CCP Political and Judiciary Committee, 610 Office, Police Department, State Security Division, and the CCP authorities of numerous villages and towns.

On June 14, the homes of Dafa practitioners Mr. Wang Sen and Ms. Chen Ying from Dongwankou Township, were ransacked by township government officials. Their Falun Dafa books, ID cards and Urban Residence Permit booklet (a document that grants permission to rent, work and live in major cities) were all confiscated. The next day, Mr. Wang Sen was arrested and detained. His whereabouts is still unknown.

On June 15, the homes of Ms. Zheng Lianzhen and three other practitioners from Qingyanggou Village were ransacked by township officials.

On June 15 at about 4:00 p.m., practitioners Ms. Chen Xiuying and Mr. Ren Fu from Yunzhou Township were arrested and taken to the local police station. After being transferred to the State Security Division, Ms. Chen was detained in the Zhangjiakou Municipal Detention Center, while Mr. Ren was imprisoned in the County Detention Center.

On the morning of June 12, practitioners Ms. Luo Meiling and Ms. Wang Shuqin were clarifying the truth at the Gaojiagou Village, Longguan Town, when villagers reported them.

They were arrested by police officers led by the assistant manager, Ma Jingliang, from the Longguan Town local police station. The next day both practitioners were locked up in the Zhangjiakou Municipal Detention Center.

Around June 13, practitioner, Mr. Di Zhiyun went to Beijing to visit relatives and was searched by plainclothes police. When it was discovered that he had Falun Gong materials on him, he was immediately arrested. The Dongwankou Township dispatched someone to escort Mr. Di back to his hometown, where he was interrogated. Among other things, they tried to force him to reveal the name of the person who gave him the Falun Gong materials. He was later released, but not before they extorted 20,000 yuan from him.

Many practitioners were arrested and imprisoned in Gaobeidian City, Hebei Province

On March 10, 2008, Mr. Zhang Deming was arrested at Fuzhuang Village, Gaobeidian. He remains in detention.

On the afternoon of May 23, 2008, practitioners Ms. Wu Yajun, Ms. Wu Ruihuan, and Ms. Wei Hui, were arrested by the Tuanjie Road Gaobeidian City police. Later, they were transferred to the Shijiazhuang Forced Labor Camp.

On May 24, 2008, practitioner Ms. Wang Huanling from Gaobeidian, was taken to the Shijiazhuang Women's Forced Labor Camp in Hebei Province where she received a one-and-a-half-year sentence. The Gaobeidian Police Department, the State Security Division, and the 610 Office were responsible for handing down this illegal sentence.

On June 17, 2008, the Baoding City State Security Division, in conjunction with the Gaobeidian State Security Division and the 610 Office, confiscated family property of practitioners Ms. Xiao Xiuying and Ms. Li Conglan from Yanjiawu Village, Gaobeidian. Both practitioners were later held at the Gaobeidian Municipal Detention Center.

On the same day, practitioner Ms. Liu Binglan, the owner of a small clothing shop in Gaobeidian City, had her home ransacked by police. She was later taken to a local detention center.

Another Gaobeidian City practitioner, Ms. Du Jifen, was forcibly taken from her home and held in the local detention center. Dafa practitioner, Ms. Liu Yunfeng, who lived at her daughter's home in Gaobeidian, was harassed and had her home ransacked by the State Security Division of Gaobeidian City and the 610 Office.

Over 20 Dafa practitioners were arrested in Xingtai City, Hebei Province

On June 6, 2008, various goods from the homes of practitioners Ms. Zhao Xiuling and Ms. Xu Zhenqing from Lihuangfu Village, Beiyian Township, Laishui County, Hebei Province were confiscated by more than 10 CCP henchmen, including: Tian Rong, the Party Secretary of Lihuangfu Village, Li Houxiu, village cadre, Chu Wenhua, Beiyian Township local police station chief, Wang Fucai, and Dai Chunjie.

Since nobody was inside Ms. Zhao's home when they arrived, the hoodlums climbed over the wall, entered her home, and confiscated several flyers, booklets, CD's, and other truth clarification materials.

Chu Wenhua yanked a necklace from Ms. Xu's daughter's neck, even though she was nearly seven months pregnant.

On June 10, this same group of state sanctioned bandits went to the homes of Ms. Zhao and Ms. Xu and confiscated their family property. Later they went to Ms. Xu's son-in-law's home (who did not practice Falun Gong) and stole his computer and tape recorder.

On June 17 at about 11:00 a.m., over 20 Dafa practitioners from Xingtai City, Hebei Province were arrested at practitioner Mr. Feng Chao's home, by State Security Division personnel. Notebook computers and several printers were confiscated, as well as over one hundred thousand yuan in cash. Mr. Feng's mother was one of the practitioners attending the Fa-study when the arrests were made. Mr. Feng's whereabouts is still unknown.

Two Falun Gong practitioners in Laishui County, Hebei Province had various family belongings confiscated twice in one week.

Ms. Zhang Fengrong from Lihuangfu Village, a former practitioner, also had her personal belongings confiscated. CCP authorities dragged Ms. Zhang into their vehicle and took her away. Ms. Zhang was later rescued by a mute from her village.
