On July 4, 2008, the Jiaohe City Court announced long sentences for Mr. Pang Shuwen, Ms. Chang Guiyun, Ms. Shi Xiuzhen, Ms. Zhang Min, and Ms. Liu Baochun.

At 6 p.m. on August 7, 2008, Li Haihua from the Domestic Safety Brigade and Wang Zhongwei from the Tiexi District Police Station lead personnel from the 610 Office and broke into Ms. Lu's house, arrested her, and confiscated her belongings.

Ms. Lu was arrested several times and imprisoned twice in a forced labor camp. A police officer from the Anshan Education Center, which is in fact a prison, broke her front tooth.

Mr. Po Wenzhe, 39, from Yanji City, was arrested on the evening of September 30, 2007, in front of a public safety bureau. His computer, copier, and Dafa books were confiscated. In November 2007, he was sentenced to a year and three months and was taken to Jiutai Forced Labor Camp in Jilin.

Mr. Song Zhanlin, Mr. Zhang Fengzhou, Ms. Xu Shuyun, and Mr. Zhang Wenguang were arrested and are being kept in the Tonghe County Detention Center.

At 3 p.m. on July 3, 2008, police officers arrested Mr. Wang Xiaojun at his home at Hulan District, Harbin City. The police confiscated his laptop and printer and also stole money from him.

Ms. Gao Shubin, 48, used to work as an accountant in a machine factory in Fushun City. On July 4, 2008, police from Shenyang City arrested Ms. Gao and took her to the Jianshe Police Station in Wanghua District, Fushun City. Police from Fushun Public Safety Bureau interrogated her.

Ms. Ju Guilan, in her 40s, is from Jianbala Village, Taohaotai Township, Qianguo County, Songyuan City. On April 23, 2008, the chief of Taohaotai Police Station arrested her and confiscated her MP3 player, computer, and Dafa books. Ms. Ju was sentenced to a year of forced labor and is now in Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp, Changchun City.

Mr. Wang Chunjie, in his thirties, was arrested in July 2008. His whereabouts are unknown as of now.

On the morning of July 4, 2008, officers from Jia Town Police Station, Guan County, arrested Mr. Jing Zhaowei, a teacher in Jia Town Middle School. He is being held in the Jia Town Police Station.

On the morning of June 20, 2008, staff from the Laizhou City 610 Office went to Ms. Jing Shuqin's home and did an illegal search. Ms. Jing escaped, but they confiscated her computer and printer.

On the afternoon of July 3, 2008, police officers arrested Mr. Zhao Jingjin in his home in Mengyin County and confiscated his laptop and printer. The next day, Ms. Yi Airong, Mr. Zhao's wife, was arrested and imprisoned.

At 9 a.m. on July 3, 2008, five officers form Hanjia Police Station in Gaomi City broke into Mr. Li Zhenfu's home and stole his belongings. The police took his wife to the police station. They released her after eight hours. The police then went to Mr. Li's work and arrested him. He is now in Gaomi Detention Center.

At 7 a.m. on June 27, 2008, Dai Changxin, Zuo Fengli, and two other officers from Weicheng District Public Safety Bureau in Weifang City arrested Ms. Han Yanli and confiscated her laptop, printers, and CD burner. The officers extorted 15,000 yuan from Ms. Han's family and released her the same day.

On June 12, 2008, police from the Domestic Safety Brigade of Weicheng Public Safety Bureau secretly imprisoned Mr. Yuan Yankong in Zhangqiu Forced Labor Camp in Shandong Province.

In June 2008, Mr. You Yunsheng and his wife, both in their 60s, were arrested.

At 11 a.m. on June 26, 2008, officers from Shijiazhuang Public Safety Bureau arrested Mr. Sun Shouyu and confiscated his Dafa books and newspapers.

At 10 a.m. on July 4, 2008, officers from Nanchang Street Police Station broke into Ms. Li Huiyun's house and confiscated her property. Ms. Li holds a doctorate degree.

On the morning of July 4, 2008, officers from Nanyang Police Station in Nancun Town, Chang'an District, arrested Ms. Xiu Chi in Shijiazhuang City and took her Dafa books and her truth clarification materials.

On July 4, 2008, Mr. Huang Wei, Ms. Hao Qiuyan and her husband, Ms. Wang Guilan, and Ms. Li Huixin were arrested.

On July 2, 2008, police arrested Ms. Heng Lihua, a middle school teacher, as she was distributing truth clarification materials. They also took belongings from her home.

On June 6, 2008, officers from the Pingshan County 610 Office and Public Safety Bureau in Hebei Province arrested Mr. Li Binggang and sent him to a forced labor camp.

In July 2008, officers from the Domestic Security Brigade of the Gaoyang County Public Safety Bureau arrested Ms. Deng Baocui.

On July 4, 2008, police officers arrested Mr. Cui Lixin.

Mr. Wang Baohua and Ms. Qin Xiuyan from Langfang City were arrested on July 3, 2008, and taken to a brainwashing center, where they are being tortured.

On the morning of July 4, 2008, the police arrested Ms. Qian Hong and took her to Beishankou Detention Center.

On the morning of July 4, 2008, Ms. Chen Yuehua from Xixinqiao 2nd Village was arrested in her home.

At 5 a.m. on July 1, 2008, officers from the Fufeng County 610 Office arrested Ms. Wang Xiaoyan in Baoji City. Ms. Wang is currently being detained inside the Shengli Factory Guest House in Fufeng County.

On July 2, 2008, Mr. Ji Wencheng from Shangcang Town, Ji County, was arrested.

On July 4, 2008, officers form Tianjin City National Security harassed Ms. Guo Yonghong at work. She was forced to leave home to avoid arrest.

On June 29, 2008, officers from the Shengli Police Station arrested Mr. Cai Zhong, who is from Shunyi District.

On July 2, 2008, the Tianqiao District Court sentenced Mr. Ba Shuqun to six years in prison.

On June 26, 2008, Ms. Duan Qiaoying from Duanyangbei Village, Sujiazhuang Town, Ningjin County, was arrested.

In July 2008, Mr. Kang Jianying was arrested and his whereabouts are now unknown.

On the evening of July 3, 2008, over 20 officers arrested Mr. Han Junhong and took him to the Jian'anlu Police Station. The arresting officers included Wang Dianliang and Li Zhongqiu from the Jian'anlu Police Station and Zhao Yongqiang from the Qiaodong Public Safety Bureau. Mr. Han escaped the next morning.

On July 4, 2008, officers from the Taoyuan Police Station, Qiaodong District, arrested Mr. Lv Hugang in his home in Qiaodong District, Shijiazhuang.

At 5:50 a.m. on July 4, 2008, an officer from Chang'an District, Shijiazhuang, pretended to be a delivery person and tricked Mr. Du Changqing into opening his door. Around a dozen police officers rushed in after the door opened and arrested Mr. Du, confiscating his computer and camera.

On July 3, 2008, Gao Jianxi from the Raoyang County 610 Office and dozens of police officers arrested Ms. Kong Lingba and Ms. Xiaoxun in Kongjundao Village, Chengguan Town. Later, the officers went to Chengguan Town to arrest Ms. Ma Peifen. Ms. Ma is being held in the Raoyang County Public Safety Bureau. Ms. Kong and Ms. Xiaoxun's whereabouts are currently unknown.

On July 1, 2008, around a dozen police officers from Jizhong Public Safety Bureau and Rennan Police Station arrested Ms. Qu Shuzhen; her daughter, Ms. Jing Bing; and her son, Mr. Jing Yuanming, from Renqiu City. The officers confiscated their Dafa books, truth clarification materials, a computer, and a printer. Only Ms. Jing Bing was released that night.

On July 3, 2008, officers from Kaifa District, Hengshui City, arrested Ms. Li Guirong and her husband, Mr. Laofan. Ms. Li was let go on July 4th after paying 15,000 yuan (US$2000). Her husband is still detained.

On April 25, 2008, over 20 practitioners from the Shengli Oil Field, including Mr. Yang Hong, Ms. Zheng Hua, Ms. Liu Bingfang, Ms. Chen Ping, and Ms. Zhang Xiaoling, were arrested. In early June, Ms. Liu was sentenced for three years, Ms. Chen and Ms. Zhang were sentenced for two and a half years, and Mr. Zhao Jian'an and Mr. Zhang Zhonghua to two years each. Officers from the 610 Office took them to Wangcun Forced Labor Camp. Mr. Yang went on a hunger strike and he was in critical condition. His current situation is now unknown.

On July 2, 2008, in Shengli Township, Tancheng County, Linyi City, Mr. Du Maomin and his wife were arrested.

On the evening of July 4, 2008, Handan County police officers arrested Ms. Zhang Genlan, 81, who lived in family housing in the Mine Bureau.

On the evening of November 17, 2007, a police officer broke into Ms. Xu Yuan's home and took her to the fifth floor of the Liuyang City Public Safety Bureau. Several police officers forced her down on a table and slapped her. Later, the police had her admitted to a forced labor camp.

On July 1, 2008, about eight police officers broke into Ms. Li Changzhen's home in Taiqian, arrested her, and confiscated her belongings. Ms. Li is now being detained in the Taiqian Detention Center.

Ms. Xue Xiufeng, 56, was from Shilaoren Village, Laoshan District, Qingdao City. One day as she was posting truth clarification materials, a video camera took her picture. On June 30, 2008, police officers from China-Korea Border Police Station in Laoshan District arrested Ms. Xue in her home.

On July 2, 2008, police from the Walengzi Police Station arrested Ms. Shi Fengxia.

On July 1, 2008, officers arrested Ms. Li Shengjuan, 53, and Ms. Song Yujie, 55, at their homes in Fengbeipu Township, Faku County, and took their belongings. The officers were from the Faku County 610 Office and Domestic Security Brigade of Faku Public Safety Bureau. The two practitioners were imprisoned in Shenyang City.

At 7:30 a.m. on July 4, 2008, police from the Tieren Police Station arrested Ms. Wang Xiaohua in her home.
