(Clearwisdom.net) On July 19, 2008, "World Youth Day" activities continued in Sydney. The day's big event was the walk across the world renowned Harbor Bridge in Sydney. Reportedly, around 200,000 pilgrims from around the world came to take part in this event at 5:30 a.m. Falun Gong practitioners formed a "Great Wall of Truth" along George Road near Chinatown where the pilgrims would pass by. The practitioners wanted to share in detail the goodness of Falun Dafa and expose the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) brutal persecution of Falun Gong.

"World Youth Day" is a celebration of the freedom of belief. It originated in the mid-80s, and has now become an important festival for Catholics. It took five years to plan the event held in Sydney this year. Tens of thousands of Catholic pilgrims from around the world walked the streets of Sydney . They were attracted by the pure and stirring performance by the Divine Land Marching Band. They learned that, in China, religious groups including Falun Gong, Catholics, and Christians are all subjected to persecution by the CCP.
