Worcester, Massachusetts: Falun Dafa Introduced at Asian Cultural Festival (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On June 29, 2008, the annual Worcester Asian Cultural Festival was held at the Italian American Center. Falun Gong practitioners were invited to perform fan dances and lion dances, and give exercise demonstrations. Their performances were warmly welcomed.

Since the Falun Gong practitioners' booth was very warmly welcomed last year, this year, the event coordinators arranged to give two additional booths to the practitioners free of charge. Even with the added space, the three booths were crowded with visitors coming to learn to fold paper lotus flowers and inquire about Falun Gong.

Before the exercise demonstration, two hosts introduced the grace of Falun Dafa and its wide spread across the world. The spectators looked at the yellow banner worded "Falun Dafa is good" at the request of the hosts and together exclaimed "Falun Dafa is good!" Warm applause followed.

When the five sets of exercises were demonstrated, the audience watched and listened to the introduction of Falun Gong. People were immersed in the harmonious atmosphere. Many people followed the practitioners to learn the third set of exercises.

The final program was a lion dance by young practitioners from the Minghui School. One yellow and one white lion danced happily on stage and won warm applause. The Asian Cultural Festival concluded satisfactorily.
