Patient Dies After Witnessing Xinglong County National Security Agents Harass His Doctor

(Clearwisdom.net) At around 2:00 p.m. on August 9, 2007, Dr. Fu Yuhe, a Falun Gong practitioner from the Zunhua area of Tangshan City, Hebei Province, was performing acupuncture treatments on several patients in his outpatient clinic. A group of police officers from the Xinglong County National Security Team rushed into the clinic and started cursing at Dr. Fu. They ransacked the clinic and paid no attention to the patients that complained about the police officers' cigarette smoking and loud cursing. The officers then beat and kicked Dr. Fu. One of the patients was traumatized by these events, and was shaking with fear.

When Dr. Fu condemned the hooligan behavior of these unexpected visitors, the officers forced Dr. Fu to the ground, handcuffed him, and then pushed him into a vehicle.

The policemen took Dr. Fu to his home in Hedong District, knocked down the door, and ransacked the house. They did not show a warrant. Policeman Ding Yuxiang said, "I will have someone torture you to death and see if you can endure to the end."

While his home was being ransacked, Dr. Fu managed to escape and has become homeless to avoid further harassment and persecution.

Ding Yuxiang and other policemen did not find anything that they could use against Dr. Fu. However, they confiscated a Motorola cell phone, model E6, worth approximately 3,000 yuan.

At the clinic, several patients were terrified by the malicious actions of the police. The illness of one patient worsened and he died a few days later after emergency medical treatment.

Another patient, an official of the Procuratorate, felt offended by the police officers' actions. Those who witnessed the officers' actions against Dr. Fu said that the police were even worse than a group of bandits.
