(Clearwisdom.net) In the nearly nine years of persecution against Falun Gong practitioners since July 20, 1999, the 610 Office in the Longgang District Branch of the Shenzhen City Public Security Bureau has persecuted Falun Gong practitioners in a variety of ways. They have ransacked practitioners' homes, detained them illegally, subjected them to torture, put them into mental illness asylums, subjected them to brainwashing, and sent them to labor camps and prisons. Many practitioners were forced to become homeless and leave their families behind. Below is a partial account of the persecution that this 610 Office has committed.

Tao Qingjuan, who was on her way back home on July 2, 2000, was captured by waiting police. They ransacked her home and took her to the police station, where they attempted to force her to write a guarantee statement. Ms. Tao refused and was detained in the Buji Detention Center.

Wang Xiaohuan and He Zhilan, while distributing truth-clarifying materials in Bantian District in the middle of November 2000, were arrested by 610 Office members from the Longgang District Public Security Branch. They were subsequently detained in the Longgang Detention Center.

Huang Xian and Zhou Kelong were illegally detained in the Longgang Detention Center on February 16, 2000.

Rao Fangchun was arrested from home before the Spring Festival of 2000.

Ouyang Hengyang was arrested in November 2003 and detained in Longgang Detention Center in Shenzhen City.

Chen Guangzhan from Longgang District was arrested on January 9, 2005 and had a lot of Falun Gong books and materials confiscated. Another practitioner with the surname Liao was also arrested.

In 2005, Su Jin was discovered to have truth-clarifying CDs. Police detained and interrogated her for the source of the CDs.

Mr. Chen Zongbao, a 30-year-old clerk in a furniture plant in Dingjialing Industry District, was arrested by officers from the Longgang Town Police Station in the evening of October 10 as he was putting up truth-clarifying materials on the roadside. He was beaten and detained in the Longgang Town Detention Center.

Ms. Xiao Anjiao from Shaoyang City, Hunan Province worked in a factory in Longgang District. She was arrested in early April of 2005 when she went out to distribute truth-clarifying materials. Afterwards, the Shenzhen authorities notified Fang Laishen, a policeman in Shaoyang, to take Xiao back to Shaoyang for continued persecution.

Sun Jiefeng from Shenzhen was arrested from the home of Liu Yu on March 30, 2005 after the police broke down the door. He was detained in the Longgang District Detention Center in Shenzhen. On January 26, 2006, Sun Jiefeng was unconditionally released.

Liu Yu, a teacher and former journalist for the Wenhui Newspaper, is about 30 years old. On April 30, 2005, when he returned home, he found that the security door and inside door had been broken, and that his home had been ransacked. A policeman with the surname of Liu brought a group of people to look around. When asked to identify themselves, they said that they were policemen but did not show any identification. They proceeded to beat Liu Yu and then took him away. Liu Yu was detained in Longgang Detention Center.

Ms. Qiu Hannong, over 40 years old, was arrested and detained in Longgang District Detention Center.

On September 9, 2005, Liu Bitao was arrested from his home in Buji and detained in Longgang Detention Center. On October 8, he was subjected to brainwashing in the Xili Asylum and Education Center.

On April 20, 2006, Li Guanqun from Shekou, Shenzhen was arrested. Afterwards his home was ransacked, and many things were confiscated, including computers, CDs, a MP3 player, books and truth-clarifying materials.

Huang Wenbiao had studied in Australia for several years. At the end of 1995, he started to practice Falun Dafa in Australia. In 1997, he went back to Shenzhen City in China. In 2000, he went to Beijing to appeal with his pregnant wife Feng Liping and was arrested. His wife had a miscarriage due to the physical abuse that she suffered. In 2001, Huang Wenbiao was sentenced to forced labor camp, and his wife Feng Liping had to leave home to avoid further persecution.

Feng Liping, the wife of Huang Wenbiao and 31 years old, worked in a pharmacy in Shenzhen City. She was arrested in 2006.

At 4 p.m. on June 10, 2005, Chen Guihua was arrested in Henggang Town, Shenzhen City and detained there.
