Police arrested Ms. Liu Xiaoling, Ms. Yang Shuzhi, Ms. Zhao Yufang, Ms. Qin Pengzhen, and non-practitioner Mr. Zheng Jianjun, a driver, on the night of June 11, 2008. The arrests took place when the practitioners were distributing Falun Gong truth-clarification materials in Luannan County, Tangshan City. The police ransacked Ms. Yang and Ms. Zhao's homes and confiscated Dafa books and other materials. Ms. Liu, Ms. Yang and Ms. Qin were taken to the city's No.1 Detention Center. Ms. Zhao and Mr. Zheng are being held in the county detention center.

2. [Zhoukou City, Henan Province] Police Arrest Four Practitioners

Personnel from the Fugou County Domestic Security Division in Zhoukou City arrested four practitioners, including Mr. He Anying, Mr. Zhao Hu, and Ms. Luan Yulan on June 15, 2008. They are being held in the county detention center.

3. [Shen County, Shandong Province] Mr. Daguang Arrested from His Home

Police followed Mr. Daguang from Shen County on June 1, 2008, on his way home from Jinan City. They arrested him, ransacked his home, and confiscated a printer, a computer, and Falun Gong truth-clarification materials.

4. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Xie Cuixia Arrested

Nanbaishe Police Station Chief Li Yanhui from Zhao County and five policemen arrested Ms. Xie Cuixia from her home in Beilijiatuan Village, Zhao County, on the afternoon of June 3, 2008.

5. [Xishui County, Hubei Province] Ms. Yang Shufen on Trial

Xishui County Court agents held a trial for Ms. Yang Shufen on June 12, 2008. Though no verdict was reached that day, Ms. Yang was informed that she would be sentenced to eight years in prison.

Ms. Yang had lived away from home since 2001 until she was arrested in Wuhan in April 2007. She had been held in the county detention center for more than a year.

6. [Mengyin County, Shandong Province] Ms. Bao Xiju and Her Daughter Arrested

Police arrested Ms. Bao Xiju from Xiadongmen Village, Tanbu Town, Mengyin County, on the afternoon of June 22, 2008. They also arrested her daughter, who tried to stop the authorities from arresting her mother. The mother and daughter are being held in Yedian Town.

7. [Akesu City, Xinjiang Autonomous Region] Ms. Gong Xinping and Ms. Xie Zhiming Arrested

Police arrested Ms. Gong Xinping and Ms. Xie Zhiming on June 14, 2008, one day before the Olympic Torch reached Akesu City. Ms. Gong and Ms. Xie are still being held in a detention center.

8. [Hengyang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Luo Hong and Ms. Xiao Dongmei Arrested from Their Homes

Personnel from the Hengyang City Domestic Security Division broke into Ms. Luo Hong's home, arrested her, and ransacked the place at 10:00 a.m. on June 4, 2008. Ms. Luo is being held in the city's No.1 Detention Center.

Ms. Xiao Dongmei was arrested and her home was ransacked at 9:00 p.m. on May 30, 2008.

9. [Zhucheng City, Shandong Province] Ms. Cui Aixiu Arrested

Personnel from the Baichihe Town Police Station arrested Ms. Cui Aixiu, a teacher from the town's Central Primary School, on June 5, 2008. They ransacked her home the next day but found nothing related to Falun Gong except a thumb drive. Ms. Cui is still being held at a detention center.

Ms. Zhang Qinghua and Ms. Jufang were arrested and their homes were ransacked a week ago. Their whereabouts are unknown.

Police arrested Mr. Liu Junzhong from his workplace at 9:00 a.m. on June 23, 2008. He is being held in Shuangyashan City.

Ms. Han Xiurong, in her 60s, is retired from the Dachang County Women's Union. Police arrested her and put her in the Langfang City Brainwashing Center on June 10, 2008.

Led by Xinxinglu village official Liu Bingsheng, personnel from the Nanzhiqiu Town Police Station arrested Mr. Lu Qing from the village on June 23, 2008. They confiscated Dafa books, Falun Gong truth-clarification materials, a computer, and a printer. He is being held in the city detention center.

Ms. Tang Fangju, an employee from the city's Education Bureau, was arrested and put in the city No. 2 Detention Center.

Mr. Yang Xifu from Huixian City was arrested on May 22, 2008, for explaining the facts about Falun Gong. He was held for 15 days and then transferred to the city detention center.

Police have harassed Ms. Shuli, Ms. Hongmei, Ms. Guiyun, Ms. Wang Xia, Ms. Shuying, Ms. Jinshuang, Ms. Shuping, and Ms. Chongru at their homes since June 2008 and have confiscated Dafa books from their homes. Several practitioners in surrounding towns and townships were also harassed in June 2008.

Police arrested artist Mr. Wang Deqian and ransacked his home on the morning of June 6, 2008. They confiscated Dafa books and a handcrafted calabash.

25. [Mengyin County, Shandong Province] Four Practitioners Sentenced to Forced Labor

Ms. An Lianyu from Laishiwan Village, Ms. Yu Ailing from Dongya Village, Ms. Hui Zenghua from Jinqianguanzhuang Village, and Mr. Hu Changping from Dongxiya Village in Mengyin County were arrested on June 17, 2008. Mr. Hu has been sentenced to one year of forced labor in Wangcun Forced Labor Camp; Ms. An and Ms. Hui to two years; and Ms. Yu to one year. The female practitioners are being held in the Shandong Province No.1 Women's Forced Labor Camp.

26. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Duan Yuhua Sentenced to One Year of Forced Labor

Ms. Duan Yuhua from the Shaling area in Shenyang City is being detained at Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. Non-practitioner Mr. Kong Fangui was sentenced to one year of forced labor for lending practitioners his car to distribute truth-clarification materials. He is being held in Shenxin Forced Labor Camp.

27. [Chicheng County, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhang Jianmin Arrested

Mr. Zhang Jianmin and his wife, Ms. Guo Suhua, went to see their daughter in Huailai County. On his way home, Mr. Zhang waited for a bus at the county bus station on the morning of June 24, 2008. Police searched his bag and found two copies of the "Minghui Weekly." They arrested him and informed police in Chicheng County. The county Domestic Security Division chief, Zhang Yongxin, interrogated Mr. Zhang and worked with local police to ransacked the home of Mr. Zhang's daughter. The police arrested Mr. Zhang's wife, Ms. Guo, and sent her back to Chicheng County. Ms. Guo has been released, but Mr. Zhang is still being held in the county detention center.

28. [Chicheng County, Hebei province] Mr. Wang Sen and Mr. Di Zhiyun Persecuted

Mr. Di Zhiyun is being held in the Zhangjiakou City Detention Center, and Mr. Wang Sen is being held in the Chicheng County Detention Center.

29. [Shanhaiguan City, Hebei Province] Recent Circumstance of Mr. Wei Danquan

Shanhaiguan City Court agents sentenced Mr. Wei Danquan to four years in prison on June 23, 2008. He could appeal within 10 days after the verdict was announced.

30. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Police Arrest Ms. Cao Guiqin

Six officers from the Weifang Domestic Security Division arrested Ms. Cao Guiqin from the Weifang City Railway Eastern Station at 4:30 p.m. on June 21, 2008. They confiscated 1,200 yuan from her and held her at an unknown location.

31. [Linqu City, Shandong Province] Police Harass Practitioners' Families

Police from Linqu City arrested four practitioners around June 17, 2008. They do not want their crimes to be publicized on the Internet, so they threatened the practitioners' families. They said if they found information of the arrest online, they would arrest them also, even though they do not practice Falun Gong.

32. [Beijing] Current Circumstances of Ten Arrested Practitioners

Ten practitioners were arrested on May 13 and 14, 2008, and four of them have been sentenced to forced labor.

Ms. Chen Manxin, 41 years old, is from Xibazi, Badaling, Yanqing County. Personnel from the Beijing Police Department's Domestic Security Division arrested her and her sister, Ms. Chen Manping, on May 14, 2008. The two were sentenced to two and a half years of forced labor.

Ms. Chen Jingjing, 24 years old, is Ms. Chen Manxin's niece. Personnel from the Domestic Security Division and Qinglongqiao Police Station Chief Mao Yu arrested her from her rented residence at No. 78 at the Fuyuanmen Apartments in the Haidian District, at 10:00 p.m. on May 14, 2008. The owner of the house, Mr. Liu Baoguo, was also arrested. Ms. Chen Jingjing was sentenced to two years of forced labor. Mr. Liu Baoguo was released on bail for hospitalization after a 30-day-detention.

Personnel from the Shengli Police Station in the Shunyi District arrested 58-year-old Ms. Liu Guijin at 9:00 p.m. on May 14, 2008. She has been sentenced to two years of forced labor. Ms. Liu's family has not received any legal documents pertaining to the arrest.

Personnel from the Domestic Security Division arrested 57-year-old Ms. Wang Yue and ransacked her home on May 13, 2008. She is being held in the Chaoyang District Detention Center. Police denied her family's visits.

35. [Xushui County, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Wenying Lives away from Home to Avoid Persecution

Personnel from the Xushui County Police Department broke into Ms. Li Wenying's home and ransacked the place at 4:00 p.m. on May 26, 2008. They confiscated Dafa books, an MP3 player, and truth-clarification materials. Ms. Li was not at home, but police arrested her non-practitioner husband, Mr. Zhang Li, and detained him for four hours and then released him. Ms. Li is living away from home now to avoid arrest.

36. [Guizhou Province] Mr. Zhou Bin Forced into a Brainwashing Center

Local police and officers from the Guiyang City Mine's Jianshan Residential Committee arrested Mr. Zhou Bin and put him in a brainwashing center on June 12, 2008. Mr. Zhou Bin used to be employed at the Guiyang City Mine, but was fired because he practices Falun Gong.

Mr. Wang Haimin was arrested on May 17, 2008.

Police arrested a female practitioner in her 40s on May 17, 2008.

Mr. Gao Juyan was arrested a week ago.

Police failed to arrest Mr. Zhang Junjian on June 23, 2008, but ransacked his home. They confiscated his computer, a motorized tricycle, and a set of satellite TV systems worth 5,000 yuan. The police attempted to confiscate his car, but Mr. Zhang's family prevented them.

Ms. Song Weidong, 66, is being held in Pulandian Detention Center. She staged a hunger strike to protest the persecution and was force-fed.

39. [Sichuan Province] The Persecution of Ms. Ai Hui and Her Family

Personnel from the Xuyong County Police Department's Domestic Security Division including Ma Yuliang broke into Ms. Ai Hui's home at noon on June 9, 2008. Police ransacked her home and attempted to arrest Ms. Ai's mother, but she escaped. Police officer Feng Guangyong attempted to coerce Ms. Ai into writing a guarantee statement, but she refused. She was taken to the police station and released two hours later.

A dozen officers from the Nonghe Town Police Station in Tonghe County arrested Ms. Zhang Fengzhou at 9:00 p.m. on June 23, 2008. Police confiscated three computers, a printer, and 2,000 yuan cash. They also arrested Ms. Xu Shuyun and Mr. Zhang Wenguang.

Personnel from Jiancaoping Police Station arrested Mr. Li Xifu and ransacked his home at 9:00 a.m. on June 12, 2008. Mr. Li walked out of the police station the next day and requested the return of all the items the police had confiscated.

Six policemen broke into Ms. Li Julan's home and confiscated all her Dafa books on the afternoon of May 28, 2008. Ms. Li escaped but was arrested two days later when she returned home.
