(Clearwisdom.net) The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) authorities have incarcerated many Falun Gong practitioners in brainwashing centers. According to incomplete information, since May 2008, many Falun Gong practitioners in Jianyang City, including Xu Huiying, Jiang Zhirong, Wei, Peng Xiuqiong, Xie Siqiong, Wang Huiying, Li Zongrun from Anyue, Liu Guoping, teacher Tang, and others have been locked up in the Erehu Brainwashing Center in Ziyang City. During every session at the Erehu Brainwashing Center, more than twenty people are persecuted. There are still some Falun Gong practitioners locked up there and people outside, including family members, do not know that their loved ones are held there.

Last year, because of the 17^th Party Congress taking place, the Political and Legislative Committee, the 610 Office, the National Security Division, and the National Protection Division of Ziyang City were engaged in active persecution of Falun Gong practitioners.

More than twenty practitioners in Jianyang City were illegally arrested, and a dozen were persecuted in brainwashing sessions. Ms. Li Maoshu, 70, Ms. Hu Yuanzhen, 64, and Ms. Liu Jianrong, in her forties, were sentenced to heavy terms. Hu Yuanzhen's husband, Falun Gong practitioner Li Guocai, was unjustly sentenced to a term of three years in 2005 and is still being persecuted in the Wumaping Prison in Leshan City. Li Maoshu's husband (Wu Tianhui) and Liu Jianrong's father died from extreme grief as a direct result. Li Fengying died from persecution by Jianyang City authorities last year.

In Yanjiang District, a dozen Falun Gong practitioners were locked up in a brainwashing center. Deng Yuxiu, Huang Zhengquan and Yi Xiangang received severe sentences, which resulted in the death of Yi Xiangang's grandmother and father-in-law due to extreme grief. Ms. Deng Yuxiu, in her fifties, was sentenced to a term of seven years and is now imprisoned and persecuted in the Jiangyang City Prison.

More than ten practitioners in Anyue County and Lezhi County were also imprisoned. Zhang Yongjun was sentenced to a severe term of nine and a half years. Lu Yanfei was imprisoned in the Nanmusi Forced Labor Camp for a third time. The whereabouts of many other practitioners remain unknown.

The Erehu Brainwashing Center is the central place in Ziyang City where the Chinese Communist Party persecutes Falun Gong practitioners. This dark den persecutes practitioners both mentally and physically. Practitioners are forced to watch videos that slander and frame Falun Gong with lies and fabricated information day and night. The perpetrators brutally persecute Falun Gong practitioners with hypocrisy, temptation, threats, physical abuse, brutal beatings, sleep deprivation, and even forcing them to take drugs that damage the central nervous system.

Li Sen, the person primarily responsible for the persecution in the brainwashing center, was previously on the city government staff. To seek promotion, Li not only directed his personnel to persecute Falun Gong practitioners, but he also personally took part. Together with people including Luo Kaiquan, a hooligan from the National Security Division in Yanjiang District, he cruelly persecutes Falun Gong practitioners who remain steadfast in their belief. The persecution includes depriving practitioners of sleep, using handcuffs to suspend practitioners with their feet above the ground for several days and nights, and cruelly beating them at the same time, shocking them with electric batons, burning them with cigarettes, kicking and beating them, and other abuses. Meanwhile, Li has also extorted a huge amount of money from practitioners. When Ms. Wang Huiying, 64, who was sentenced to three and a half years, was released from prison on June 15, 2008, she was forcibly taken directly to a brainwashing center by the Jianyang City authorities. Wang Huiying's family went there and demanded her release. The person responsible for the brainwashing center said, "No way, unless you hand over 30,000 yuan."

The party committees, legislative and politics committees, and the 610 Offices of various districts and counties under the jurisdiction of Ziyang City constantly direct branches of the National Security Division, the National Protection Division, the Public Security Bureau and various personnel to forcibly take Falun Gong practitioners to brainwashing centers. These people use both deceit and force to incarcerate practitioners and cruelly persecute them.

Since May, 2008, with the Chinese Communist Party using the excuse of safeguarding the Olympic games, party committees, government offices, especially legislative and politics committees, and 610 Offices, the National Security Division, the National Protection Division and the Public Security Bureau in Ziyang City and various districts and counties under its jurisdiction, treat all civilians as enemies.

1. They constantly hold "important" meetings for deployment, planning, commanding, and actions.

2. They have tremendously increased the police force and trained security guards for legislative and politics departments, party and governmental departments, residential committees, enterprises and institutions, and teach them techniques used by secret agents.

3. They hire unemployed young people and train them with skills to mingle with crowds, eavesdrop and track people.

4. They hold meetings in companies and make public the names, residential addresses, pictures and concrete information of those Falun Gong practitioners who are on their blacklist targeted for persecution.

5. They direct secret agents to monitor, track and secretly arrest people. They also arrange the Public Security Bureau, residential committees, administrators of rural areas, villages and companies to constantly go to people's homes to harass them.

6. Educational departments force students in primary and middle schools to join the Young Pioneers and the Communist Youth League.

7. They put up slogans all over the city to help promote the evil party.

This situation has caused everyone to feel insecure. Even though people are sick of the evil party's constant bloody political campaigns and violent deeds, they still act as the Chinese Communist Party's private accomplices with no complaint, help the evil to commit bad deeds, and terrorize the Chinese people.
