Mr. Liu Qing Brutally Tortured in Yinmahe Forced Labor Camp in Jiutai, Jilin Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Liu Qing, a Falun Gong practitioner from Fuyu County, Songyuan City, Jilin Province, was sentenced to Yinmahe Forced Labor Camp in Jiutai. The guards have brutally tortured him for a year and a half. He is now very weak, and his family is not allowed to visit him.

Mr. Liu's arrest and incarceration at the Fuyu Detention Center happened on May 9, 2008. The guards there tortured him ruthlessly, hurting his back to the point that he could not walk.

Mr. Liu Qing went on a persecution protest hunger strike once in Yinmahe Forced Labor Camp, and did not cooperate. On the night of May 21, the guards and Zhang Haibo, a "reform" assistant taped Mr. Liu's mouth and nose shut and beat him until he lost consciousness. He now suffers from severe headaches and has difficulty walking.

Mr. Liu refused to be "reformed," so the guards locked him up in a dark cell, forced him to sit on a board for six days and deprived him of sleep for 24 hours.

Practitioner Mr. Xu Qingwu is also illegally detained and being abused in Yinmah Forced Labor Camp.
