1. Ms. Ye Yongfeng, a practitioner from Shenzhen City in her 40s, was sentenced to forced

labor for three years. Because she resisted the persecution, her term was extended for another two months. While she was in Guangdong Province Women's Forced Labor Camp, the guards routinely verbally abused her, lied to her, subjected her to sleep deprivation and forced her to carry out military training. The guards also instigated collaborators to further harass her. As a result, her lower back was injured and she had difficulty walking. The guards still forced her to do hard labor. Collaborators kicked her repeatedly. Ms. Ye is now in a brainwashing center in Shenzhen City, where she has been since the end of May.

2. Ms. Gao Xi, a practitioner from Foshan City in her 20s, was sentenced to forced labor for one year. However, she was released before her term was up because she had developed mental problems due to the intense mental and physical abuse that she suffered. Her current whereabouts are unknown.

3. Ms. Ma Yong'an, in her 50s, is a practitioner from Zhuhai City. After she was detained at the forced labor camp, her health deteriorated rapidly. Still the guards kept on torturing her daily. After a few months she developed symptoms of severe illness, so the guards allowed her to be bailed out.

4. Ms. Gao Shuhua, a practitioner from Shenzhen City who is in her 40s, was illegally sentenced to two years in the forced labor camp. Because she resisted the persecution, her term was extended. The camp guards physically abused her and subjected her to sleep deprivation. Ms. Gao was transferred to a brainwashing center in late April 2007. Nobody has heard any news of her since then.

The No.3 Team in the No.1 Section of Guangdong Province Women's Forced Labor Camp is where practitioners are detained. In the middle of this year, nearly a dozen police officers were transferred to this section just to help persecute practitioners.
