(Clearwisdom.net) On July 2, 2008, six practitioners from Dongmafang Community--Ms. Yan Sanming, Ms. Chu Sichun, Ms. Xiang Hongxing, Ms. Zhang Jingyu, Ms. Xiong Jiwei, and Ms. Xiong Wende--were illegally arrested and their family properties confiscated.

Ms. Xiong managed to escape during an interrogation session. The other five practitioners went on a hunger strike to resist the persecution and were later released after 14 days of imprisonment.

On July 19, 2008 (Saturday), Chinese Communist Party (CCP) personnel tricked Ms. Zhang Jingyu into going to the Hubei Provincial Shuanghuan Chemical Industry Group Limited Company, where she worked. When she arrived, she was arrested and taken to the Tangxunhu Brainwashing Center in Wuhan City, accompanied by two employees from her company. When the two employees later returned to work--without Ms. Zhang--and fellow workers questioned them, the pair simply claimed that they did not know where Ms. Zhang was.

On August 1, CCP personnel once again arrested Ms. Yan Sanming, Ms. Chu Sichun, and Ms. Xiang Hongxing. When they asked Xiaogan City officials for permission to transfer the practitioners to a forced labor camp, their request was denied due to a lack of material evidence.

To resolve this dilemma, Yingcheng City personnel simply fabricated the required evidence. As a result, each practitioner was sentenced to one year in Shayang Forced Labor Camp in Hubei Province.

Mr. Chen Desheng from Yingcheng City, Hubei Province, was "illegally imprisoned" in the Yingcheng Second Detention Center for 15 days. She was transferred to the Yingcheng First Detention Center on August 7, 2008.

Police officer Mr. Rao Xuming, a practitioner from Yingcheng City, received a three-year prison sentence. When he completed his full term on August 2, 2008, Yingcheng Police Department officials did not release him as promised. Instead, they transferred him to the Tangxunhu Brainwashing Center in Wuhan City.

On August 3, 2008, Ms. Gao Wenxia from Dongmafang, Yingcheng City, was arrested on her way home by three officers from the Dongmafang Police Station, led by officer Xu Zibin. Ms. Gao was sentenced to one year of forced labor in the Yingcheng First Detention Center. When she was later taken to the Wuhan City Women's Forced Labor Camp, the camp administration refused to accept her due to health reasons. They sent her back to the detention center, where she remains to this day.

Ms. Hu Shuping from Yingcheng City was arrested by officers from the Chengguan Police Station of Yingcheng City while she was clarifying the truth. She was later taken to the Yingcheng Second Detention Center to serve a one-year forced labor term. When she was taken to the Wuhan City Women's Forced Labor Camp, officials there refused to accept her, citing health concerns. They sent her back to the detention center, where she remains to this day.

Ms. Cao Furong from Yingcheng City was arrested by officers of the Chengguan Police Station of Yingcheng City while she was clarifying the truth. She was first taken to the Yingcheng Second Detention Center, then transferred to the Yingcheng First Detention Center, where she is now.
