(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Song Yuliang, who lives in Xidahuo Village, Wujing Town, Linqu County, Shandong Province, was supposed to return home on June 14, 2008, after serving his sentence. The Linqu County 610 Office extended his sentence and his family does not know when they can see him.

In May 2008, Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials attempted to arrest Mr. Song's wife but she escaped. The officials broke into their house and took away a cell phone, 700 yuan in cash, and their daughter's unused notebooks.

Since the persecution of Falun Gong in China started on July 20, 1999, CCP officials have ransacked his house and arrested him on several occasions. On June 29, 2007, Liu Xingang from Wujing Police Station and five other officers broke into his house. The officers searched the entire house. As soon as they found Dafa books and truth-clarification materials, they handcuffed Mr. Song and took him away immediately, not giving him time to put on proper clothes. At the time of his arrest, none of Mr. Song's children were home, only his wife and mother.

Mr. Song's family didn't hear anything about him afterward. They asked around for him and about a week later learned that he was being held in a detention center. His family was not allowed to visit him. Mr. Song was then transferred to an unknown location. His family spent four months searching, only to learn that he had been taken to a forced labor camp.

They discovered that Mr. Song was in Wangcun Forced Labor Camp. The guards would not let his family see him because he refused to denounce Falun Gong.

In February 2008, Mr. Song's younger brother died in a car accident. His family asked the officials in the camp to let Mr. Song see his brother for the last time, but their request was denied.

CCP officials did not notify his family of his detention or imprisonment. Mr. Song's mother currently lives with her daughter and officials have threatened her neighbors to have no contact with her.

Mr. Song has served his complete sentence in Wangcun Forced Labor Camp, but officials with the 610 Office have extended his term.
