1. [Shouguang City, Shandong Province] Gucheng Police Station Arrested and Extorted Money from Practitioners

The Gucheng Police Station of Shouguang City arrested Mr. Hu Aiyun, Mr. Zhao Xiushun, Mr. Zhao Liming, Mr. Li Kongfa and Mr. Zhao Shiheng. Among them, Hu Aiyun and Zhao Xiushun were sent to a forced labor camp. The police also extorted 20,000 yuan from these practitioners' families. The police handcuffed the practitioners around the clock and did not allow them to sleep and the practitioners were beaten up. Zhao Liming was not released until he was beaten unconscious. He lies on his bed and cannot move himself

2. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhang Ruhe and Other Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Zhang Ruhe is a retired officer in Zhaoyuan Town, Zhaoyuan County, Daqing City. On the afternoon of July 12, 2008, she was arrested by police from the Zhaoyuan Town Police Station. Her home was also searched. Now she is being detained in the Zhaoyuan County Detention Center.

Before the Olympic Torch was passed to Daqing City, the Politics and Law Committee of Zhaoyuan County ordered all departments to monitor Falun Dafa practitioners. About a dozen practitioners were taken to the Quanju Hotel and persecuted.

3. [Miyun County, Beijing City] On July 10, 2008, Mr. Yue Quanzhi Arrested by Police on the Way to His Relatives' Home

4. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Bai Yufu and Mr. Xu Dawei Persecuted in the Dongling Prison of Shenyang City

On July 20, 2007, Mr. Bai Yufu went on a hunger strike for resisting the persecution. He was force -fed and he was forced to do slave labor.

In the prison division, Mr. Xu Dawei resisted having his hair cut and refused to call his number. He was then beaten up.

5. [Chongqing City] Ms. Liu Yalin Sent to the Yongchuan Prison and Continuously Persecuted

On June 1, 2007, Ms. Liu Yalin was arrested by the Dadukou District National Security Team of Chongqing City. She was detained in the Dadukou District Detention Center for almost one year. Her family members were not allowed to visit her. In March 2008, the Dadukou Court sentenced her to three years and six months of imprisonment. On May 28, 2008, she was sent to the Yongchuan Prison.

Ms. Li Liying, 32 years old, lives in Gengle Town, She County. On July 5, 2008, she was arrested at her home by police from the She County Police Department.

7. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Police Searched the Home of Ms. Ma Shufen and Her Husband Lao Hao

At 1 p.m. on July 12, 2008, about a dozen policemen from the Jianan Police Station and the Shenglibei Police Station went to search the home of Ms. Ma Shufen and her husband Lao Hao. The police confiscated pictures of Teacher Li and truth-clarifying materials and then arrested Ms. Ma Shufen and took her to the Shenglibei Police Station. Later on, she was released because she had symptoms of a cerebral hemorrhage when having a physical checkup.

8. [Tianjin City] Ms. Wu Jian Sent to a Forced Labor Camp for the Third Time

On May 23, 2008, Ms. Wu Jian was arrested for the third time. On June 23, she was sentenced to two years of imprisonment. Now she is being detained in the Tianjin Women's Forced Labor Camp.

9. [Tianjin City] Mr. Li Liang Forced to Become Homeless

While the Olympic Games are approaching, the Tianjin police went to Mr. Li Liang's office to harass him. The police monitored him around the clock. He has been forced to become homeless.

10. [Yingyang City, Henan Province] Three Falun Gong Practitioners Arrested

On July 9, 2008, Mr. Qin Zhixiang and Mr. Lao Rui were arrested. On July 10, the Yingyang City 610 Office and National Security Team went to Shangjie District in Zhengzhou City and arrested Ms. Ren Yanjun.

On the night of July 7, 2008, Ms. Shen Qingxiu, Ms. Shen Huoxiu, Ms. Tao Heying and Ms. Xu Linxiang from Xingzi County were arrested. Ms. Shen Huoxiu is being detained in the Jiujiang Detention Center and others are in Xingzi County Detention Center.

12. [Wuli County, Shandong Province] Many Practitioners Arrested and Persecuted

Between April and May 2008, the Wuli County 610 Office and the Dongzhen Township Police Station arrested many practitioners including Ms. Lin Chunming, Mr. Zhao Rusheng, Mr. Liu Quanyi, Mr. Zhao Yunsheng, Mr. Zhao Jingrui. Mr. Liu Quanyi was sentenced to three years of forced labor; Lin Chunming, Lin Chunlei and Zhao Rusheng were sentenced to two years of forced labor. Zhao Jingrui suffered a mental collapse as a result of the persecution. Zhao Yunsheng was released because he was found to have high blood pressure. Li Huisheng and his wife have been forced to become homeless to avoid arrest.

13. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Tao Yawei Forced to Become Homeless

At 6 p.m. on July 13, 2008, police from the Tongjiang Police Station in Jilin City went to harass Ms. Tao Yawei who lives in Tiebei New District. The police tried to force her to write the guarantee statement renouncing Falun Gong. Ms. Tao was forced to become homeless to avoid arrest.

On July 11, 2008, in name of passing the Olympic torch in Daqing City, the Zhaozhou County Politics and Law Committee, the 610 Office and the Tuogu Township Police Station, went to search the home of Ms. Wang Shuying and arrested her. Now she is being held in a detention center.

Ms. Zhao Guixiang, 64 years old, lives in Jinzhou, Dalian City. On July 12, she was reported while she was clarifying the truth to students in the Second Middle School of Dalian Developing District. The Qinghai Police Station arrested her. She is being detained in the Yaojia Detention Center.

The Fufeng 610 Office arrested Mr. Zhu Xinqiang from his home on June 30, 2008. On the morning of July 1, 2008, the 610 Office arrested Ms. Wang Xiaoyan in front to her home. Now they are being detained in the guest dorm of the Shengli Machine Factory of Shaanxi Province.

On the morning of July 7, 2008, Mr. Liu Guoyao (about 40 years old), Ms. Liu (about 50 years old) and another practitioner were arrested by police from the Tangshan City National Security Team and the Diaoyutai Hotel Police Station. Now they are being detained at the Tangshan City First Detention Center.

On the night of July 8, 2008, police from Gaoxin District, Nanyang City and the Tanghe County Security Team arrested Mr. Luo Jiuhe from Tanghe County. The police also confiscated Dafa books and other materials. Now Mr. Luo Jiuhe is being detained in the Tanghe County Detention Center.

Mr. Wang Zhigang is about 35 years old and runs a book store in the Taiyuan Institute of Technology. At 7 p.m. on July 10, 2008, on the way home, he was arrested by police from the Wanbolin Police Department and the Qianfeng Police Station. His home was then searched. His computer, printer and other property in his bookstore, as well as about 6000 yuan cash, were confiscated.

At 9 a.m. on July 10, 2008, police from the Chengguan Police Station in Yingyang City went to Shangjie District in Zhengzhou City and arrested Ms. Ren Yanjun and Mr. Hu Aimin.

At noon on July 12, 2008, police from the Third Criminal Police Team of Chuanying District went to the Qingfeng Resident Area in Chuanying District and arrested Falun Dafa practitioners Mr. Yang Shuhua and Ms. Du Hongfang, as well as Ms. Yang's younger sister who is not a practitioner. Ms. Yang's sister was released after being detained for one day and half night. The two practitioners were sent to the Jilin City Detention Center.

On February 6, 2008, Ms. Yang Xiuli was arrested while she was distributing truth-clarifying materials. She has been sentenced to three years of imprisonment. Now she is being detained in the Heilongjiang Province Women's Prison.

44. [Jinzhou City, Henan Province] Ms. Zhang Wa Arrested

On July 11, 2008, Ms. Zhang Wa was arrested by the police from the Jinzhou City Police Department. Now she is being detained in the Jinzhou Detention Center.

45. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Pingqiao and Another Practitioner Arrested

On the morning of July 7, 2008, Ms. Liu Pingqiao and the elderly Ms. Zhou, from Panjin City, were arrested while they were distributing truth-clarifying materials. Now they are being detained in the Third Center.

46. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Mr. Lu Weidong Arrested

On the afternoon of July 11, 2008, Mr. Lu Weidong from Shaliuhe Town, Fengrun District was arrested by the Shaliuhe Town Police Station. The police confiscated Dafa books and some truth-clarifying materials.

47. [Wuan City, Hebei Province] Mr. Wu Huisheng and Other Practitioners Persecuted

Mr. Wu Huisheng, 42 years old, lives in Xiguang Street, Wuan City, Hebei Province. At 9 a.m. on July 13, 2008, police suddenly searched his home and took away some truth-clarifying materials and CD's.

On July 10, 2008, Ms. Du Lan'e from Wuan City was sent to the Shijiazhuang Forced Labor Camp for a two-year imprisonment term. Mr. Liang Fuxiang was sent to the Handan City Forced Labor Camp for a one-year term. 71-year-old Mr. Li Aijing was released after being extorted out of 1000 yuan.

48. [Pingdu City, Shandong Province] Ms. Jiao Jingmei and Her Family Members Arrested

On July 12, 2008, Pingdu police stormed into the home of Ms. Jiao Jingmei at Cuijing Village and confiscated a satellite dish, Dafa books, a laptop, a printer, etc. On the morning of July 14, the police arrested Ms. Jiao Jingmei, her husband and brother-in-law.

49. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Mr. Dong Dianqing and His Wife Arrested

On July 13, 2008, Mr. Dong Dianqing and his wife were arrested from their home by the Yushugou Police Station of Jilin City. Their home was also searched.

50. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Rong Xiuzhen and Ms. Meng Sufen Persecuted

On July 5, 2008, about 20 policemen from the Jian'an Road Police Station of the Qiaodong Police Department broke into the home of Ms. Rong Xiuzhen (alias Rong Hua). They took away Dafa books, truth-clarifying CDs, a bank book and about 3000 yuan cash. Later, Rong Xiuzhen was sent to the Shijiazhuang First Detention Center.

On that afternoon, Ms. Meng Sufen was also arrested because she went to visit Ms. Rong Xiuzhen. She has been sentenced to one year of imprisonment. On July 14, she was sent to the Hebei Province Women's Forced Labor Camp.

51. [Zunyi City, Guizhou Province] Ms. Wu Shengying and Her Husband Arrested

On July 13, 2008, Ms. Wu Shengying and her husband went to the rural area to enroll as a student. They were arrested while they were clarifying the truth about Falun Gong. The police then went to search the school.

52. [Tianjin City] Ms. Wang Yueling and Ms. Zhu Jinxiang Arrested

On July 9, 2008, several policemen from the Hetou Police Station in Tanggu District, Tianjin City went to the homes of Ms. Wang Yueling and Ms. Zhu Jinxiang and arrested them.

53. [Beijing City] On July 2, 2008, the Baizhifang Office of Xuanwu District Arrested Ms. Li Huiyun from Her Home

54. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Home of Ms. Ju Hongqin Searched

On the morning of July 9, 2008, six or seven policemen from the Police Station of the Weicheng District Train Station went to search Ms. Ju Hongqi's home. They confiscated pictures of Teacher Li, Fa-lectures, Teacher Li's articles and copies of the Nine Commentaries.

55. [Yiyang City, Hunan Province] Mr. Zhu Die, Mr. Tang Hao and Mr. Liu Kaihua Detained

In July 2008, police from the Yiyang City 610 Office and National Security Team arrested three elderly Falun Dafa practitioners, Mr. Zhu Die, Mr. Tang Hao and Mr. Liu Kaihua. Now they are being detained in the Yiyang City Second Detention Center.

56. [Hebei Province] At 2:30 p.m. on July 13, 2008, Ms. Wang Chaoying Arrested by the Shengli North Street Police Station and Her Home Searched

57. [Zhengzhou City, Henan Province] Ms. Han Yulan and Two Other Practitioners Arrested

On the afternoon of July 9, 2008, Li Sen from the Two-Seven District National Security Team ordered the Wulibao Police Station and Office to arrest Ms. Han Yulan. Ms. Han was sent to the Wanqing Shanzhuang Brainwashing Class in Xiliu Lake. Her home was also searched.

Ms. Chen Ping and her daughter from Zhengzhou City were arrested by the Qinling Police Station on July 11, 2008. They were sent to the Yingyang Detention Center.

58. [Guanghan City, Sichuan Province] Qin Jiamin and Li Daqiong Arrested

On July 10, 2008, Xigao Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Qin Jiamin was arrested by the Guanghan City

riot police while she was clarifying the truth. On July 12, Ms. Li Daqiong was arrested by the Shifang City police at the Shifang City Market.

59. [Zhengzhou City, Henan Province] Ms. Meng Qiaolian Arrested

On the afternoon of July 9, 2008, police from the Zhongyuan District Police Station of Zhengzhou City rushed into the home of practitioner Ms. Meng Qiaolian. The police confiscated Dafa books, truth-clarifying CD's and materials and took her to the Ludong Village Police Station.
