A Beijing Reporter Tried to Visit a Corpse Processing Facility and Was "Warned"

(Clearwisdom.net) When I clarified the facts about the persecution of Falun Gong to a friend of mine, he told me a personal account related to the Chinese Communist Party's harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. This friend is a reporter in Beijing and he believes what Falun Gong practitioners have said about the persecution. He said to me, "You've said that Falun Gong practitioners' organs are harvested while they are still alive. This is very possible. As reporters, we try to dig out the news, and we are always looking for an unusual story. This incident happened around the end of April or beginning of May 2006. Several reporters were given information that hinted that in a village of Dandong City, Liaoning Province, there was a secret corpse processing factory. I immediately thought that the reason a corpse processing facility was built in a remote village was so it could be kept secret, and if I could report this to the public, the news would be of great interest to people.

"But when we arrived there to see for ourselves, we were not allowed to enter the village. It was a small village that did not look very prosperous, but there were armed police guarding it. Besides the villagers that were allowed to go in and out of the village, outsiders were absolutely not allowed in. This made us even more curious to take a look around the village. However, we soon gave up, because one of the reporters among us was given a 'warning' that we were not allowed to enter, that it wouldn't do us any good. Where had this 'warning' come from? We did not dare to ask more questions."

My friend also said, "Being a reporter, I do not have freedom, as someone close to you may be from the National Security Department. Once something significant happens, we are immediately watched. Last time, during the 'Forum on China-Africa Cooperation,' I received a message on my cell phone, saying that I was 'Not allowed to report anything I want to.'"

I said to my friend, "The crime of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners was exposed in March 2006, and you wanted to enter the village in May of that same year; so it was no wonder that the Communist regime was so much on the alert." When he heard this, my friend suddenly became very frightened.

The following are my thoughts and suspicions about this issue:

  1. There is already a corpse processing factory in Dalian City, Liaoning Province, which is known to the public. Is it necessary to establish another corpse processing factory in Dandong City, which is not far from Dalian? Furthermore, it is set up in a poor, remote village, so why are there also armed police guarding the village?

  2. Dandong is very close to Sujiatun, and it is under the control of the Liaoning Provincial Party Committee. The public usually does not pay attention to a small city.

  3. Dandong is close to North Korea, which is one of the Communist "brothers." North Korea gives the Communist regime a feeling of "safety" for committing crimes.

I hope that all foreign governments can help the members of the Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (CIPFG) to enter China to conduct an investigation as quickly as possible. The CIPFG members should be allowed to carry out the investigation freely.
