People sign their names to express concern over human rights violations in China
Santa Monica Beach is a famous tourist site. The weather is like spring all year round and tourists come from all over the world. On August 3, many tourists immediately signed their names when they were asked, "Please support Chinese people's human rights." Many said they had already heard about the human rights violations against Falun Gong in China. A lot of people waited at the table to sign their names. Others asked for more details about the situation and read the display boards.
One lady signed her name and then helped to clarify the truth and collect signatures from other tourists. One man signed his name and talked about his understandings of the CCP's dangerous nature. A practitioner introduced Falun Gong to him and he was very interested and said he would look it up online. A lady came to the signature table shortly before the event ended. She signed her name and hugged practitioners, saying, "Good luck to you."
The practitioners have been coming to Santa Monica Beach to clarify the truth every Sunday for three years. The practitioners come here to set up display boards, banners, and petition forms, and pass out truth-clarification fliers. They also perform a reenactment of the CCP's live organ harvesting crimes. Many people have condemned the CCP's atrocities and expressed sympathy to Falun Gong practitioners being persecuted.
